I'm a MOH....I've talked about this before on here.  A friend of the bride wanted to design the shower invites.  Well, I just received mine today (the shower is Jan 24)  and no where on the invite does it say that it's a shower- nevertheless a couple's shower, nor does it say who the shower is for.  The bride called me tonight furious, but not mad at me because she knew the drama we were having with the friend.  The friend didn't even email me a copy of the invite to proof before going out.

I feel horrible about it, and I offered to send out a little card explaining who the shower is for and that it's for the couple, but the bride insisted that she and her FI do it.

    That sucks!  Hopefully most guests had a good laugh over the completely unhelpful invite.

    Reminds me of a piece of mail I got with a 30% off sale and NO COMPANY NAME OR WEBSITE.  Like, 100% useless mailer... some huge snafu with their marketers.
