anyone have a false - preg test

Im only 2 days late but I don't even feel like its coming. ?I took an ept test yesterday and it was negative. ?When I was preg with ds my test was negative and then 3 days later it was positive ( but I wasn't due for my period yet) ?Just wondering if the test could have been a ?false - at this point?

It's possible that if you ovulated late, you might get a false negative b/c it would be too early to get a +.  If AF doesn't come, I'd keep testing each morning!

With DD and DS I got BFP's a few days before my missed periods.  With this one AF was due around Nov 30.  I tested Jan. 3 and got a BFN and tested Jan 5 and got a BFP.  I don't know if I o'd late because I haven't had an ultrasound yet.  There is still hope.

I tested negative at 14 dpo but found out later I was pregnant.

I'd wait a couple of days before testing again.

Yep, I did, even though I already had some pg symptoms and AF was due within the next few days. ?5 days post AF's latest "normal" due date I got my BFP. ?This was w. using First Response tests
