MIL sent same Xmas gift as last year. WWYD?

Today I opened a box from Kohls that was sent to us from MIL containing a men's messenger bag and a jewelry box.  I'm thankful, but, she gave me a large jewelry box last year and I really don't have enough jewelry to fill two.  Should I call and ask if I can give it to my stepdaughter instead?  MIL will probably laugh when she realizes what she did.  Maybe dh should pretend like he opened the box and call her instead?  WWYD?

I wouldn't ask if I could give it to my SD. Just do it! If she asks, just tell her the situation.

If it were me, I'd probably just give it to your stepdaughter without asking. ?Then again, if you really think she'll just laugh about it, then I might mention it casually. ?I don't think there's any need for DH to do it.
