    Hi Mandy! Congratulations!
I'm so glad this round of TTC was it for you! It's been a while since I actively TTC and I'll always remember the elation of checking and squinting and finally getting a positive test! I adore quilts for babies and I can't wait to see what you dream up!
*Why did I think V day was the 7th?! I better add baby brain to my symptoms. Good grief haha.

Hi everyone, I'm Kales, I live in the PNW and spend my time growing flowers and children, exploring mountains, dabbling in photography, juggling my hobbies and being domestic in a punk rock way (not your neighborhood tradwife) I'm excited to get to know you all!

    EDD:
honestly I think February 17 but I wasn't paying nearly enough attention to my cycle so 😵‍💫 for now I'm saying the 17th, we'll see.

Baby #: my fifth but will hopefully be my fourth living child. I'm in the stillbirth mom club.

How you found out: okay so ever since my last baby was born, I get bad nausea during my luteal phase so I've learned to just ignore it, and then I kept gaslighting myself out of the other symptoms because it just didn't seem likely. But then I woke up, looked at my app, realized even if I ovulated the last possible day last month, it would still make me a week late so thinking absolutely nothing of it I decided okay fine I'll test. Of course it was positive and I almost don't believe it still.

How are you feeling emotionally: honestly in shock, it's not completely unexpected wholly, but I really didn't expect to get pregnant again till at least the autumn or winter. I think I convinced myself I wasn't pregnant a little too well. I'm happy and anxious and worried it won't stick and all the anxiety

Symptoms: oh gosh so many, nausea, vivid dreams, feeling hot all the time, swollen boobs, aversion to smelling anything, patience feels a little low, my nips are sensitive but true boob soreness hasn't set in yet. My face broke out, I also had implantation cramps a few days ago, also feeling like crying about everything and generally heightened anxiety.

Fun fact about you: I will take any opportunity to take a pretty picture, the most mundane thing must have an aesthetic angle and I'm here to find it lol.
  • EDD: Feb 4th

Baby #: 3, 2nd living, recently miscarried with my last baby Neriah.

Found out: squinter line at 11dpo, been TTC since our loss so. Oddly I had gotten a negative, cried about it, then randomly felt the need to take an afternoon test later (which I never do)

Emotionally feeling: happy, trying not to be scared of another miscarriage.

Symptoms: I had really bad nausea w both of my others before even hitting 4 weeks, this time nothing. It almost worries me tbh. But  still fatigued so.

Fun fact: I'm very crunchy already but pregnancy made me even more so!

I'm sorry about your miscarriage, those are so hard, I hope TTC after your loss wasn't too hard emotionally and I'm so excited for you to have gotten a bfp! I wonder if you implanted later and that's why you had a negative first, either way I'm happy for you!
I know for me, I think my nausea is more spotty and easier to ignore in the very beginning with the last few children than it was when I was younger and was newer to pregnancy, I'm not sure why. Maybe the same is true for you, your body hit your stride and your nausea will start to properly wreak havoc before too long!
I used to be crunchy, now I'm a labelless mix of all the things that are important to me.
  • First off, idk why my username looks crazy 🤣

It’s so awesome to get to meet you guys! I’m Shawna! I’ve been married for almost two years, and we have two dogs and a cat together!

    EDD: 2/18

Baby #: this is my second pregnancy

How you found out: I had been suspicious for a few days, so I took a test (WAY too early) and was getting faint positives! I knew I wasn’t crazy making them up when I waited a few days and tried again!

How are you feeling emotionally: MUCH better mentally this time around. My first pregnancy I always had this “doom” feeling lingering over me. But I actually just told my husband that so far, I feel really good!

Symptoms: so far just some boob tenderness, increased appetite, and I’m very tired all the time, but have awful insomnia at night.

Fun fact about you: I LOVE plants! I have a small forest of about 50 or so different plants in my house (with the collection always growing 🤪)

I think I need you to teach me to quilt too! Such a talent.

    Congrats! 🥰
  • I had a loss in the fall and i felt the same during that pregnancy, a sense of doom and waiting for the other shoe to drop.

none of that this pregnancy, so hoping its a good sign!

also: ill teach you to quilt if you teach me to keep my plants alive! 😂
  • Hi everyone! My name is Jess, I live in Canada with my husband and our husky. Excited to be here with you all!!

    EDD: February 22nd

    Baby #: first!!

How you found out: it was our first cycle of properly trying and my husband and I are mega impatient so we tested asap and it was positive!! Ahhhh!

How are you feeling emotionally: excited, overwhelmed and a little scared :)

Symptoms: dull cramping and some bloating, but not much yet.

Fun fact about you: I had to be rescued via military helicopter from my first attempt at a honeymoon (whoopsies)
