Missed period but BFN

Does anyone else have experience with this? I was put on letrozole last cycle and apparently responded so amazingly awesome to it. Everyone was so encouraging and I heard “don’t even have sex if you’re not ok with twins”. Followed all instructions from OB to the letter.
And am now 1 week late for my period but still testing negative. Had a blood test today to confirm. Definitely not.
But no one can seem to explain to me why my body randomly decided to skip a period when that has never happened to me in my life.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. I feel so alone and like I have no one to talk to about this.
