How are you feeling?: exhausted but ok otherwise! Finally not sick woohoo!

Rants/Raves: I’m in major nesting mode. Love getting rid of things, but it sure doesn’t help with my exhaustion. Excited to get the nursery set up more this week 🤗

GTKY: I’d love to leave that pregnancy anxiety in 2025 and bring some internal peace into the new year.

How are you feeling?: definitely getting more physically uncomfortable, dealing with some sciatica/back pain but overall pretty good.

Rants/Raves: Insomnia is very annoying!

Upcoming appointments: Next ultrasounds are the first week of Jan.

How are you feeling?: Feeling alright, just very tired still. I have the weirdest tooth pain since yesterday, it's only when I step with my left foot. It's not major but it feels like I'm rattling my tooth when I walk on hard surfaces. So weird. 

Rants/Raves: Rave: Christmas was really fun. My toddler loves seeing his family.

GTKY: what’s one thing you want to leave in 2025 and one thing you want to bring with you into 2026? I'd like to leave behind my stress, it's been a bit of a crazy year. I want to bring with me a positive perspective.

Upcoming appointments: repeat anatomy scan and OB appt on 1/27 

How are you feeling?: great, just tired per usual 

Rants/Raves: rave - My anatomy scan went really well today, I love getting to see her! She’s measuring right on track, and there wasn’t anything concerning. I will need a repeat scan since they weren’t able to get the best look at her heart due to her position, but I’m not complaining! I’m excited that I get to see her again at my next appointment. Also, I’ve been feeling her move more and more every day (even with my anterior placenta)!

GTKY: what’s one thing you want to leave in 2025 and one thing you want to bring with you into 2026? I’d like to leave unnecessary spending in 2025. We don’t budget, which feels really irresponsible, and we eat out/buy things we don’t really need too often. I’d rather put that money towards something enriching for our kids. 2025 has been a really great year for me and my family, and I’d love to bring the same energy into 2026. Life hasn’t necessarily been easy, but it’s been really fulfilling.

@aarynl Might not be your cup of tea but I really liked the book "Your money or your life" for helping me think about purposeful spending / saving. There's an update version that came out a couple years ago and it isn't perfect, but has some really good ideas on how to reframe how we think about money.

Upcoming appointments: 1/23 midwife and gd test just before that

How are you feeling?: Tired! We have come to the UK with out toddler to see MH family and toddler started off sick and pretty sure MH has pneumonia now so not getting much sleep between my own cold and MH's coughing at night. Other than that feeling good! Feeling babe kick loads. 

Rants/Raves: Its so cold here in the UK!
