Upcoming Appointments: nope! Just induction on Friday 🥳

How are you feeling? So. Freaking. Done. This kid is still doing all the constant breakdancing moves and I am in pain. I am pretty certain I am making it to Friday though. 

Rants/Raves: Growth scan on Friday estimated his weight at 8lbs. And while that can be inaccurate, my doc guessed at least 7 the day before. 

Questions: nope

Upcoming Appointments: Thursday on my due date 

How are you feeling? Like this baby is cooked. I want a healthy baby and know she will come when she’s ready, but sooner rather than later would be great. I did start having some practice contractions / false labor over the weekend, but nothing consistent. Hopefully that means something is progressing / body is getting ready for labor

Rants/Raves: My OB won’t schedule an induction until I reach 40 weeks, and they won’t schedule me until after 41 weeks. Because of the holidays and scheduling, my only induction date options would be 12/26 or 12/30 if I go that long 🫠🥲

Upcoming Appointments: today was pre-op appointment, c-section on Thursday 12/18

How are you feeling? Nervous, anxious, excited. It still doesn’t feel totally real. But nursery is organized, bags are packed, and I think we just have to sit back now and let the professionals do their job!

Rants/Raves: I realized today that I don’t have a single photo of myself from this pregnancy where I am visibly pregnant. I’m torn between believing this is a photo I may want to have in the future, and being totally uninterested in pulling myself together enough to take a good one. Maybe tomorrow we can get a photo in front of the Christmas tree, commemorating our last night just the two of us.

GTKY: How would you like to stay in touch with this group in the new year? I worry we’ve missed our window to migrate to a new platform now that babies are here, but figured it was worth attempting to resurrect the conversation.

Unfortunately I’ve ceased almost all social media use. I have Facebook active solely for Marketplace use, but would gladly chat with a private group via FB Messenger if that is a viable option.
