Upcoming Appointments: I have an appt today. Wednesday we are going in to "try to flip him". I have a septum uterus so they aren't going to try too hard to get him to flip. I will have a spinal or epidural before they try and since the doctors are giving us a 20-25% success rate they are just going to go ahead with a c-section.
How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good. My husband doesn't like that I'm more or less going in for a c-section because he had to help his sister after her's and knows the recovery is not fun but he also understands why we need to. We are both that nervous/ excited right now but I think we are as ready as we are going to be.
Rants/Raves: I really don't have anything to rant or rave about. The only thing I'm slightly annoyed with is my in laws wanted to come pray over us the night before we go in. While my husband and I do attend church and will be raising our son in the church we are not as strong in the faith as his parents and they are acting like I'm going to die or something awful is going to happen. *knock on wood it doesn't* I get where they are coming from and I know this is more of a comfort thing for them then it is us but its still a little annoying. I'm one of those people that if I don't see people freaking out, then I'm not going to freak out.

I have been making freezer meals for us to enjoy after baby gets here and but there is a ziti recipe that has been sitting on my counter that I have not gotten around to making yet. I looked at it yesterday and realized how easy it will be to just make it and be done with it but its just the final bit of motivation in me is just gone. Same thing for a really easy sloppy joe recipe. We have some of it made but we were going to make another quick batch. Again both recipes are VERY simple to make, its just the lack of motivation.

Upcoming Appointments: Wednesday -OB and GBS swab! NST on Friday.
How are you feeling? Sore, tired, like I want my body back. Also pregnancy rhinitis sucks so much.
L&D did confirm what I was assuming were actual
contractions are the real deal (but very sporadic)👍 I also had the nurse tell me that I am not allowed to do anything crazy to try to get labor going yet, she actually said see you in 2 weeks when I left the hospital.
Rants/Raves: it’s been crazy and I need a nap like I need air but it’s Monday and I will NOT be getting one anytime soon. ☹️
Had an NST scheduled Friday afternoon only to find my car wouldn’t start. It turned out that DD2 didn’t close the door all the way and drained the battery, called my dad to come over and confirm/charge and now we are all good. But I had to call MFM and they
told me under no circumstances am I allowed to miss my NST so I had go to L&D over the weekend to get it done.

GTKY: My office is still not cleaned out from our homeschool materials and I haven’t trained our puppy to stop barking or to walk on a leash 🙃 The barking thing is the only thing I still really care about at this point it’s just going to take a lot more consistency from all of us (read training my family and not just the dog lol).

How are you feeling? Kind of over it, lol. So thankful for a healthy pregnancy and that my body is capable of this, but the swelling, hand pain, carpal tunnel, etc have got to go. Just so ready to have a baby in my arms instead!
Rants/Raves: I wish I had a job where I could work from home these last couple weeks of pregnancy.
Questions: Not at the moment

How are you feeling? Good! Tired but good! Achy at times if I don’t slow down.
Rants/Raves: I wish I could work from home full time but I’m hybrid. It’s getting exhausting the days I have to go into the office though.

How are you feeling? Disappointed but mostly at peace. Babes is still frank breech and seems very firmly and comfily nestled in my pelvis. Had a good talk was the very kind OB we got (I’ve been meeting a new practice member at every appointment in hopes of having built rapport with whoever will be on call when I deliver) and ultimately decided an ECV attempt carried more risks for us than we were comfortable with. So unless this kiddo decides to reconsider which way is north or kicks off spontaneous labor, we’ll be welcoming them into the world via scheduled c-section at 39w0d on 12/18.
Rants/Raves: Did you know when you schedule a c-section you get to choose which provider will do it? I was so flustered when they asked me to start naming names. One of my favorites is already booked in the OR all day but the other was free, and despite my disappointment at how this pregnancy is going to end I’m actually really pumped she’ll be the one to announce whether baby is a boy or girl and place them in my arms 🥰

GTKY: December is here! Babies are arriving left and right! What's the biggest thing you've sworn you were going to do but procrastinated on this pregnancy? Oh, so many things. (I may or may not have chosen this GTKY just so you’d all help me feel better about myself.) I’ve had the pantry ingredients to make a casserole for the freezer since probably September. I bought a cat door to install for the basement so we’re not negotiating their access while we try to do laundry but it’s still in the box. I got a whole box of cloth diapers as hand-me-downs that haut need to be washed/dried/prepped but they remain untouched. And most importantly, I’d love to give the house a big, thorough, deep cleaning to get postpartum off on the right foot. If anybody knows where to find the motivation and energy for that at this stage, I’m all ears…
the nesting was so bad. But this go around it’s very much trying to fake it till I make it…with lackluster results. 🤷♀️
We are almost birth date buddies 🤣 we can wait it out the next 2 weeks together, it feels like forever!
