Morning sickness

This is my second pregnancy, nearly 7w I think, but the nausea is hitting earlier and I feel so drained. Anyone else? What’s helping? I have ginger everything but it’s limited in how much it does for me. I have my first appointment tomorrow and I know asking the doctor is always the best place to start - just curious what everyone does to help you get through the day :(

Re: Morning sickness

  • 3rd baby, 7+3 today, nausea and fatigue hitting HARD and sooner than previously. Just eat bites of whatever you can handle, often. Like, every thirty minutes is where I'm at. Sip water. Try to keep food to as much protein as you can, it'll tide you over better and longer. Hang in there! This baby is a blessing from the Lord. 💖

  • Nausea hit me early this time too! Drinking and eating are a struggle most days. But I am having some less bad days sprinkled in. Coconut water is tasting good and going down well for me lately! Small, frequent meals. Sometimes carbs are the easiest to tolerate but when I can get more protein I swear I actually feel better.
  • My doctor put me on the B6/Unisom combo and it’s helping a bit but I’m struggling to have any energy for work. And I work full time 😩 ugh I can’t wait to get through this first trimester
  • Omg yes, the early nausea this time around hit me way harder too😫. I’m 25 weeks now and what helped me survive those brutal early weeks was breaking things into tiny wins: cold foods instead of warm ones (way less smell), sipping electrolyte water, eating something small before getting out of bed, and keeping snacks like crackers or pretzels literally everywhere. One thing that actually helped me more than ginger was the “No to Morning Sickness Tea.” It’s super gentle and way easier to get down when everything makes you queasy. I started it around the worst weeks and it took the edge off enough to function like a semi-human again. Hope you get some relief soon💕
