Hi everyone! My little one is excelling in all developmental areas except speech. She has said several words, but then just won't say them again. She says "dadadada" for a lot of things. Her most famous words(the one's that she said a lot) are "yeah yeah yeah, and "oh shit" - I know a curse words  are bad, but words are words. Words she's said once or twice and then refuses to say them again are mama, cat, dog, Sacha(Sasha our cat), Gabby(from gabbys dollhouse thanks to her grandmother who lets her watch it all the time) and come. Other than that she doesn't say words. It sounds like she is talking in her throat - if that makes sense. She knows what everything is when we point to it or ask her to get it and anything along those lines, but trying to get her to say anything just doesn't work. Her pediatrician is aware and wants us to come back if it doesn't change before her 2nd birthday. I just want to know if anyone else has experienced the throat talking?
