Workouts

Has anyone tried the YouTube channels or apps for prenatal workouts? I drive a LOT for work (2 hrs one way) and at 23w, the drive is killing me slowly. I try to get in 10k steps per day but it’s not always possible. 

Thought I’d ask and see if any moms on here have good workouts to recommend.

  • I love this channel on YouTube called Pregnancy and Postpartum TV! All her workouts are pregnancy-friendly and divided by trimester. She has a mix of Pilates, light weights, hiit, and yoga workouts, so you get lots of options. The workouts are challenging, which I like, because I feel like sometimes pregnancy workouts are too simple. She also has lots of content about preparing for birth! Highly recommend! I’ve been doing her workouts this entire pregnancy so far and they make me feel so good! (I’m 20 weeks)

  • I have a ballet barre subscription and they have tons of prenatal exercises. A lot of the stand alone videos are 20 minutes or less which I really love because that makes it feel more doable with my schedule. 
  • I second the pregnancy and postpartum tv YouTube channel recommendation! I love her pregnancy Pilates videos 
  • I'm doing the Hanna Eden bumpfit series that I subscribed to. It's like weights and stuff, not really cardio.
