Could I be pregnant ?

Im not quite sure if im pregnant or not. I’m on the depo shot, I was supposed to receive it on Oct 9th but I had to reschedule. I had intercourse on Oct 12th and got my depo shot on the 16th. Couple days ago my breast started to become tender and sore… I took a test yesterday and it came out to be negative. Could this be from the depo shot or an early sign of pregnancy ?
