I’m currently 6w6d according to my LMP. I did an elective ultrasound today and the tech said I’m early. It looks like maybe the beginning of something but maybe 4 weeks. Anyone else experience this and have good news following?
Sounds like you ovulated late. Only time will tell if this is going to have a good ending. If you tracked ovulation you would be able to count from ovulation and know for certain.
So it’s really weird because they say they add 2 weeks to the actual conception date, I’ve been trying to figure it all out myself because gestation is 5 weeks but they are saying I’m 7w pregnant but conceived on sept 30. It’s so weird! Everything is going to be okay!
With both of my pregnancies, I ovulated late. 2 weeks behind where I should’ve been according to my period. My first pregnancy turned out perfect, I have an almost 1.5 year old. Currently almost 10 weeks with my 2nd. It can happen and still have a good outcome. Don’t stress about it mama!
1st if you did an elective ultrasound, you probably went to a boutique. You don't get transnational US there. The TV is the most accurate. Most doctor offices do not do ultrasounds until closer to the 12 week mark (unless there are concerns/history) because its the best timing. Honestly this is why boutiques need to be banned. Too many women go there and get wortied/scared because there are ZERO health professionals that can answer true medical questions. Now you are worried and will carry that worry which is not healthy. Breath, watch for symptoms of cramping, heavy bleeding, etc. Wait until you have a professional scan done and get real answers. If things still seem off- you have medical professionals that can answer your questions. The US tech can't answer medical questions about what they see, but can connect you to your doctor.
