We are spilling the beans today to our families and I am both sooo excited to not have to keep a secret any longer and also terrified- but in an effort to over power the terror I’m going to ramble the plan:
I’ve sent an auntie/uncle hat set to my brother and his girlfriend, and I think once that arrives and we face time, then we’ll start calling my husband’s siblings.
We’re doing a beer train event with our parents later tonight, where we plan to present them my beer tokens and an ultrasound picture as an early Christmas present they have to share 💕 and then once the initial excitement wears off, we are going to somehow spring the surprise of the baby’s gender (way to go NIPT testing coming in wicked early)- either sneaking pink confetti’s onto the tables (which will already have some confetti from the event decorations) and/or casually handing them ‘It’s a Girl!’ Napkins and see if they notice right away.
I sort of wish we were doing more but I have a feeling less will be more in this case.
