Uterus Moving Around?

I am just over 12 weeks and noticed (what I think is) my uterus seems to move? Last night in bed I could feel this oval-ish shaped thing by my pubic bone. Also felt it in the morning. This afternoon it was gone. It's the same every day. There, then gone. Anyone else? Does the uterus move places?

I’m not sure what you’re feeling but if you’re feeling the uterus I don’t think it’s moving around. It’s not floating around. It’s attached to the walls and your pelvis via ligaments.

I would bring it up with your provider at your next appointment or if they accept messages through the patient portal if you really want sooner (and they have an option like that). Do you know if your uterus was/is retroverted? I found out mine was during my first pregnancy and then during my pregnancy it “popped” forward because of the growth. I have no idea if while growing it has a weird back-and-forth phase but it’s the only thing I can think of based on my experience. But like, emeraldcity603 said, your uterus is highly connected to your pelvis.

Not floating, but being pushed up or down.

Did you talk to your OB and get a response @riababy4? I read up on my weekly update and saw this. One thing for sure is the uterus doesn't flow freely it's attached by your ligaments but the ligaments are stretching to allow the changes.
