Upcoming Appointments: None til Sept. 24 when I have my next OB appt and follow-up US to see if we can get a pic of baby boy's heart and spine since he was being uncooperative last week

How are you feeling?: I'd been having some serious trouble sleeping over the weekend. I got a magnesium bisglycinate supplement that I've taken the past 2 nights, and that seems to be helping somewhat. I definitely think my brief second-trimester energy boost has passed though. Hands and feet are both swelling - I bought silicon rings a size and a half up from my wedding set and those fit perfectly at the moment. Overall, I can't complain too much. The lack of sleep, swelling and joint pain isn't super fun, but it's still quite a bit better than the first trimester.

Rants/Raves: I'm super excited for football season to be back this weekend! My husband has been big into fantasy football since the pandemic, so we buy NFL Sunday Ticket every year and definitely get our money's worth out of it. I grew up watching football every Sunday with my parents, so the sound of the games is oddly soothing to me even if I'm not paying attention. My husband was a military brat, but born in Ann Arbor, so he's a big Lions fan and watching them see so much success the past few seasons has been exciting! Needless to say, Lions onesies are on the registry. Interested to see how they do after Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn both moved on during the off season. I'm a Steelers fan myself, but I don't follow them quite as closely and I don't have a lot of hope for their luck this year.

Questions: Any other football fans here? If so, who's your team?

Fall is my favorite season, so I can't wait for it to get colder and the leaves to start turning. I'm probably most looking forward to cuddling up in cozy sweaters, drinking apple cider from a local farm (hopefully it's pasteurized - just realizing I have never thought to check before), and pumpkin picking in October.

Upcoming Appointments: Our anatomy scan is this Thursday. I'm looking forward to seeing her again!

How are you feeling?: Tired and achy with random bursts of nausea, but overall okay.

Rants/Raves: I've been feeling baby girl more consistently and that's my favorite part of pregnancy 😊

I'm looking forward to cooler weather more than anything. I tend to run warm in my own right, but while pregnant my internal thermostat just goes haywire and I become a furnace. I'll miss my sweaters this year, but at least I won't be melting!!! I'm also surprisingly excited for the fall/winter holidays already; I always love them, but it seems awfully early in the season for me to be this ready!

Upcoming Appointments: US Monday. Midwife on Tuesday. I won't be settled until I see everything is OK on the US. My last one I knew while watching things were off. Pretty much living in the twilgiht zone praying it won't be a repeat. It can't come fast enough. 

How are you feeling?: anxious. The heartburn is radiating. We had spaghetti tonight and I have regrets! 

Rants/Raves: @marmalade0 I was just thinking the same last night. He was moving and I was feeling it. I even had my son press and he felt it. I love this part and sharing it with my sons. It's so special. I miss that part after pregnancy. It makes me smile when I see the newborn babies squirm and kick and get the motorcycle arms and knowing that's what I was feeling inside. 🤭 our bodies are so amazing. 

Questions: Any of you ladies have bassinet recommendations? We did the mamaroo with our last and it was good but started whining toward the end. I did get it 2nd hand though. The baby slept well in it. I'm between 3 at the moment. I'm not throwing snoo money at it though. Didn't win powerball! 🫤

Oh where to start? I love baking and decorating. Pumpkin patches, corn maze, apple picking, bonfires, harvest, Oktoberfest, bierocks, Halloween, leaf art, firewood prepping, fence fests, drive-in movies, hayrides, horse rides, all the fall snacks and foods, and fondue!!! Meat day comes at the closing of fall. Our freezers are stocked! It's my favorite time of the year. We do school outside all season. The boys start basketball in October by the time they are done it's Christmas and then baby. We go to a Santa wonderland in November every year. In 2ish weeks we go to our mountain property and do DIY family photos with all the beautiful colors. The "leafies" will be out in full force and I can't balme them. I will settle for cider, but I miss my coffee so. 😅 there is nothing like fall. Sweaters, boots, and beanies, what more could a gal ask for? 🍁🍂

@ahume131, I am also a Steelers fan, but am not expecting much. I’m also disappointed with them bringing Aaron Rodgers into the mix. My husband is a Broncos fan, so they are my second team by default. I’m excited for football season!

How are you feeling?: Very large! I’m still puking occasionally. I feel like everything is hard, and I’m only halfway there.

Rants/Raves: I’m feeling kicks too, but not consistently. My 2.5 year old has been hugging and talking to my stomach recently. I have two rants. First, I’m on track to gain as much weight as I did last time, which is the one thing I didn’t want to do. I never got back to my pre pregnancy weight, so I’m very worried. Second, I have two family members often saying they want to see my belly. I’m not a fan of the pregnancy stage and really dislike having a huge belly, so I never want to send pics or show them on FaceTime.

Questions: Has anyone moved during pregnancy or with an infant? I’d like to move into a larger house, but thinking about doing it makes me anxious. I’m not sure when it will be easiest to move.
