    1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 2
    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ? (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 03/14, 12w+0d
3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: Sept 2+3 [clarifying EDD]
4.) ʙᴏʏ/ɢɪʀʟ/ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ/ꜱᴜʀᴘʀɪꜱᴇ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ʙɪʀᴛʜ: Gender reveal! We have results, picking them up on the second.
5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: Surprisingly getting by with less vomiting, the nausea is now nagging throughout the day. I'll take the nagging over vomiting multiple times a day. Experiencing some decent back pain.
6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: I'm happy I'm able to go to bed early and get some decent sleep before baby comes. Irritating I can't really eat sweets or I'll get nauseous, but I think that's probably a good thing. Went to the carnival this past weekend, the one they were hosting for the first time at a new venue. It was awful. So hot, crowded, overpriced, and only had a ride or two my little could ride. Each vendor we went to for food not only had long lines, but when we finally got to order they weren't selling half the items on their menus. The icing on the cake was the amount of stuff that wasn't allowed into the carnival, but when we were in there, there were families with those non-allowable items 😆. Won't be returning next year that's for sure. Luckily, there's a few other options we can go to. Really looking forward to the pumpkin patch though, something we know and go to annually.
7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: Anyone try OLIPOP Ginger ale? Tried it the other day and it has a unique tasteee haha. Idk if I'll buy it again, but it is a healthier version of the other types I suppose. Also is anyone already thinking of Halloween costumes for their littles, or if they are old enough to express theirs, what do they want to be? What will you be? (If you dress up). I'm ready for the weather to change.

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): March 11, 12+5

    3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: 10th, prenatal

    4.) ʙᴏʏ/ɢɪʀʟ/ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ/ꜱᴜʀᴘʀɪꜱᴇ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ʙɪʀᴛʜ: finding out

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: headaches are getting better! A little nervous about going back to work Wednesday but I'm getting one every three or so days now instead of daily so hoping once I'm out of first trimester they will fade entirely.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: my mom is coming to visit this week to help with my toddler. I was supposed to go home with him but I didn't feel comfortable traveling with him by myself incase I got a migraine. Also I have my dishwasher back!

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: @blossomingmama I think my toddler is going to be a dinosaur? Maybe a bear. I'll see what I can find for him. I don't think I'll dress up, maybe when he's older and understands what's going on. I'm also ready for fall

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): March 16, 12w today

3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: tomorrow for NT scan and NIPT

    4.) ʙᴏʏ/ɢɪʀʟ/ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ/ꜱᴜʀᴘʀɪꜱᴇ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ʙɪʀᴛʜ: finding out

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: Getting better. Still randomly dry having and having digestive issues and peeing a million times but I can’t complain.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: I have a friend’s bachelorette party this weekend so that will be fun to get away for a weekend. I also upgraded myself to premium economy for the free booze before I got pregnant lol.

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: @blossomingmama my daughter is fully in her Frozen era so she’s going to be Princess Anna.
  • 1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 8

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 3/25; 11 weeks this Wednesday

3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: I just had my appointment last Friday. Got my blood drawn for the NIPT. I forgot that the ultrasound place called to set up my appointment for the NT scan. I really just want to measure my SCH again. I’m not at all concerned about the fold measurements.

4.) ʙᴏʏ/ɢɪʀʟ/ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ/ꜱᴜʀᴘʀɪꜱᴇ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ʙɪʀᴛʜ: finding out. We may do fun cupcakes with the kids to find out. I really haven’t decided.

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: exhaustion and lots of food aversions. I can’t decide what to eat and when I’m halfway through eating I’m so disgusted by it I have to be finished.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: my bump is actually bumpin. I can feel my uterus when I lay on my stomach and there is no squeezing into my jeans or anything non maternity at this point.

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: we don’t celebrate Halloween. My kids dress up regularly though and right now they are usually Hogwarts students or some kind of fairy or warrior.
  • 1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 4

3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: First appointment still isn't until September 19, forever away!  :'(
    4.) ʙᴏʏ/ɢɪʀʟ/ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ/ꜱᴜʀᴘʀɪꜱᴇ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ʙɪʀᴛʜ: Girl
    5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: I don't really have any
6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: Annoyed I have to wait so late for my appointment!
7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: @blossomingmama My youngest wants to be a "Mickey dragon" so that's going to be fun to figure out. My oldest wants to be Mario, and my middle kid hasn't answered the question so I might have to pick hers.

    1.) ʙᴀʙʏ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: 2

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): 3/29 (10w2d)

    3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: 9/24

4.) ʙᴏʏ/ɢɪʀʟ/ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ/ꜱᴜʀᴘʀɪꜱᴇ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ʙɪʀᴛʜ: We'll find out at the anatomy ultrasound and I'll just likely text friends and family like I did for my son.

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: Nausea and fatigue. I can usually start strong in the morning but by mid-afternoon I am so miserable. I barely can force myself to eat anything after noon but I do because I know I need the nourishment. Still no vomiting (thank God!) but there are some days I almost wish I could throw up because maybe then I might feel less miserable. I have an almost-bump now. I'm going to have to pull out my maternity clothes this weekend and start looking for more pieces.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: Hubby is on the other side of country for the next four days for a work trip. We just dropped him off at the airport this morning. Thankfully, either my parents or my MIL will be stopping by every day to help me out and break my day up. Especially helpful since I am a SAHM with my toddler. I feel very lucky that my toddler does super well playing by himself, I just need to stay in the same room as he is to make sure he doesn't get himself into trouble. He is in the constant boundary testing stage!

Super annoying - my sink decided to unseal itself from my countertop. While I still currently am able to use it, I'm trying to be extra careful and do the bare minimum of use to prevent further damage. Someone is coming to do a quote and hopefully we can get it fixed this week.

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: @blossomingmama I have never tried any of the Olipop sodas, but I generally don't drink much pop to begin with. I do eat candied ginger to help with my nausea along with drinking sparkling water from time to time. We are not big halloween people and my son is too little to trick or treat. With his bedtime being so close to when peak trick or treaters come by we may just leave a bowl out with a sign keeping people from ringing the doorbell or just keep the lights off entirely. I don't see us doing a costume for the little guy this year.

    2.) ᴅᴜᴇ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ (ᴡᴇᴇᴋꜱ+ᴅᴀʏꜱ): March 15, 12w2

3.) ɴᴇxᴛ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ: Sept 17 for routine OB, then gender scan a week or two later!

4.) ʙᴏʏ/ɢɪʀʟ/ɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟ/ꜱᴜʀᴘʀɪꜱᴇ ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ʙɪʀᴛʜ: definitely finding out! I was so much more chill with my third, not a care in the world about the sex. This time I have wanted to know so bad.

5.) ꜱʏᴍᴘᴛᴏᴍꜱ: the gagging from post-nasal drip causing me to vomit is sooo annoying. I couldn't find a tissue box to blow my nose fast enough this weekend and so I ended up having to sprint to the closest bathroom 😑 evenings are still the hardest time mostly, but last night specifically I felt like garbage and had trouble sleeping and it extended all the way into this morning.

6.) ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴇxᴄɪᴛɪɴɢ/ᴀɴɴᴏʏɪɴɢ: like @midnightatsunset, my sink also came unglued from my counter this weekend! My husband and I decided to DIY it yesterday and jesus christ what a mistake lol. I don't think it will end up holding and we'll have to hire it out.

7.) Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ: Anyone here have experience with pre-eclampsia? My best friend went to L&D this weekend at 34 wks for BP ~ 155/95 and they ended up admitting her. They told her her BP wasn't looking good so they didn't think she'd go home until she had a baby, but they were waiting until 36 wks to start. And then this morning her liver enzymes were through the roof, so they're inducing her now. She's 35 wks tomorrow and a FTM and scared out of her mind. I'm scared out of my mind worried for her and feel so helpless, especially because I just have no personal experience and know nothing about pre-e except the basics. She's been my best friend since middle school and the panic spiral of "what if something happens to her" is so hard to stop.
  • @RoseShadow873 lol last year our then-4yo wanted to be a "pumpkin puppy". We made it happen though! Does he maybe want to be farfus, the big purple and green dragon from the show? That might be easier to solve!

@blossomingmama we haven't started the costume process with our kids because they change their minds *constantly* lol. Our daughter will probably want to be Doc McStuffins or a Spidey and His Amazing Friends character, no idea what our 5yo will want, and currently are trying to explain to our 9yo that we won't be buying him a costume from a horror game that he isn't even allowed to play lol. My husband and I have dressed up when we do family costumes, and will probably do a couples costume this year since this is going to be my only pregnancy with a real noticeable bump on Halloween!
  • @thescarletmom the post nasal drip! also the bane of my existence. So miserable and I'm sorry to hear about your sink, too! Yikes! what a strange coincidence. I literally never heard of this happening until it happened to us!
  • @midnightatsunset us too! It was so weird and annoying! Definitely made it hard to want to cook and use the kitchen, and I do not need any extra reason to want to eat out right now lol. Hopefully yours isn't too expensive to fix!
  • @thescarletmom we had a contractor out today and found out we will need to consult with a countertop specialist to get a quote and have this company come out after to hook the plumbing back up xP Looks like I will not be making anything super cookware involved for at least another week or two (oh nooooooo....she said sarcastically)
  • @thescarletmom yes! I have had it both times! First time I just needed a week bedrest then induction. Second time I had the same issue with liver enzymes; referred to as HELLP. I was 37 weeks exactly. I was sent from my routine appt. With 170/110 BP and then my labs came back and doctor said I was not leaving. I did totally fine; just a lot of BP monitoring. Baby was fine coming out and my BP was back to normal once he was out. I just needed an iron supplement after delivery.
  • @thescarletmom oh my gosh! I didn't know there was a dragon character on the Mickey shows, thank you so much! That makes a lot more sense if that's what he was talking about. I was thinking he just merged two costume ideas in his mind but that's probably what it is! How funny.
  • @robinj716 I'm so glad to hear things went well for you and your babies! I hope my friend and her baby do well too. I think I'm so worried partially because baby will be premature (she's 34w6 today) so I'm pretty certain even with the two steroid shots she got for his lungs that he's going to need NICU time. She went in over the weekend and they told her if she could get her BPs to a more manageable level they'd let her have bedrest at home until she got to 36 weeks, but they never came down and then this morning this liver enzymes issue, and they decided it couldn't wait anymore. I know she's terrified and I'm scared for her wellbeing, physically and emotionally. Just feel helpless because there's not anything I can do right now.
  • @RoseShadow873 hopefully that's what he was talking about 😂 because otherwise I foresee kiddo is going to wear a dragon costume and some Disney ears lol
  • edited September 3
Aw, what fun kiddo costumes. It's still early enough but we haven't decided what to do about Halloween yet. We usually go out during the day since he's still little, and make sure to be home for dinner and bedtime routine. It's fun to go out with our friends and their kids and let the children see all the different costumes and decorations. We'll see if my son decides he wants to be something else. These shops sell out so quickly with costumes, so shopping early here is essential. My son just asked for the first time the other day to wear his buzz bathing suit to dress up 😂. He's obsessed with Toy Story, Moana and Maui, and just starting to watch Spidey and his amazing friends. He was small last year but we all dressed up as Toy Story characters and we show him pictures of last year (he loves looking at past pictures/videos of us) and calls me Jesse sometimes lol- super cute. Trying to soak up all this time while he's my only one here right now. 🥹

@thescarletmom I haven't had any personal experience with pre-eclampsia even though I know what it is. I hope she is able to get a great team to help her manage this and have a safe delivery for her and baby.

@midnightatsunset hope you're able to get that countertop specialist out soon! The gems of owning a home, am I right?

I had an OB U/S today at a different clinic I guess to measure baby and make sure everything was okay and normal which everything went well. I was very confused why I had to go to a different clinic to get this done but I guess it was a maternal fetal specialist that had a different ultrasound machine? Tomorrow I have an appt with my OB and she will supposedly interpret the results, do an U/S also and measure my bump. If you ask me it's still silly to me to have two back to back, but I guess she needs to see me every 4 weeks until she decides every 2 weeks. They are keeping my due date 03/14 and I am 12 weeks 3 days today. So fun seeing baby on the screen and getting print outs today, best part about these appointments for sure. Baby is making urine and had a full stomach so is also eating okay which was a concern with the horrendous n/v I had been having. Also found some decently comfortable maternity stuff online at Walmart. Anyway! That's it! 🫶
  • @blossomingmama remind me, did you do IVF or fertility treatments? If not, I'm surprised they sent you to MFM, and if you did do fertility treatments I'm surprised they're fiddling with your DD so much? And by measure your bump, do you mean take a fundal height?? I've never heard of that before like 20 weeks 😳 It seems odd to me too, but hey! At least you get extra pictures of baby out of it and hopefully they'll get whatever answer they're searching for?

But Halloween and the costumes are so fun with tiny ones! Stuff definitely sells out so quick, we'll have our kids choose in the next couple of weeks too. I remember our last Halloween with just the 3 of us and our family costume that year! Once our oldest got to be 6/7, he started to veto doing a family theme costume anymore, which made me so sad, because it was the year our 3rd was born so she's never gotten to do a family costume! My favorite was the year we were all colossal squids as required by my octonauts-obsessed child lol.

Okay, that sounds absolutely adorable lol squid family costumes. Oh the day when the kids choose not to dress up as family anymore! :-,( I hope you have tons of pictures to keep as memories. Halloween pictures are fun to look back on.

I did not do IVF or infertility treatments, no. Conceived naturally. I'm just as confused. Today was supposed to be an appt with my OB for her monthly check up with me. I called the office to ask why I had to come in a few days before and she said this OB sees her patients every 4 weeks, then every 2 weeks. I've seen her a total of one time which was August 7th for my first prenatal appt. That's where I told her the first day of my last menstrual and that due date was 03/06, but she said she'd do her assessment/measurements and based on the fact I was a week and a day over my due date with my first she gave me 03/14 and has stuck with it. I just never understood exactly why but I guess she just chose a later date and said I was measuring a week before which made no sense to give me a later date if this makes sense, hence all my confusion. Fast forward to today I was supposed to see her this morning, woke up at 6 am to get the family going, and her office calls me minutes before leaving and cancels says she's stuck at the hospital and if I could see her in the afternoon. Get everyone ready again forego my little one's nap to get him in the car and her office calls me as I'm minutes away to cancel. I was furious. The late notices were so unprofessional. I was also tired, nauseous, hungry just wasn't a great moment. So I never got to see her, speak about anything..etc. as of right now as far as the US went everything was perfectly normal and my due date hasn't changed at all still with the original one she gave me a month ago which was based on more measurements and history I suppose not as much LMP.

@thescarletmom how is your friend doing?
  • @blossomingmama When you go for your US what is baby measuring? Does it line up with your dates?
