What was your experience with a scheduled c section?

I am so nervous about my scheduled c section. Like it makes me sick on my stomach anxious when I think about it. It’s sep 15th and the closer it gets the more scared I get.

The actual procedure was fine. I found the hospital stay to be a little difficult because I didn’t keep up with the pain relievers as well as I needed, but once I was home recovery went well. It may be worth listening to some positive c section birth stories to help normalize it in your mind.
