October 2025 Babies

Third Trimester 🎉

Assuming most of us have hit the 3rd tri, or will be very soon!

How are you feeling?

What are you doing to prepare for birth, and when baby gets here?

I’m losing my energy for sure, and getting out of breath pretty easily. But I know I still have a full trimester to get through so I’m not complaining 😆
I’ve been listening to lots of birth stories and watching videos. Watched an online Breast Feeding series. Doing specific exercises and stretches to open up my pelvic area. Still haven’t got nursery ready but hoping to in the next few weeks.

I'm losing my energy too lol. I got a birthing ball to exercise with and I'm trying to do my exercises every day to keep myself in shape for labor. My husband and I went to a natural childbirth class yesterday and I feel more prepared but also more terrified? The nursery hasn't been set up at all 😂 my dad and sister are painting it next month, so there's no point until the paint is dry.

  • My abs have started to split, so I've decided I'm done with rock climbing and will just focus on my physical therapy homework for this final stretch. It's fine, but I'm sad about it.

My glucose test is on Friday and I'm nervous about it. I just hope I don't get too nauseous.

My husband has a dad prep class this weekend and then we start our birthing prep classes the following weekend. I just chose the one my hospital offers since most of the classes outside of my hospital seem to be exclusively focused on unmedicated labor, and I plan on having an epidural and some other pain relief options too.

I haven't scheduled a breastfeeding class or a baby care basics class yet but I will soon. I did order my breast pump! And we have a pediatrician set up, which I'm excited about.

We haven't started on our nursery AT ALL. It makes me a little nervous, but our baby is spending the first six months in our room with us so I think I might just let my in-laws go ham after the baby is born. My mother-in-law is great at interior design and is moving up here shortly before the baby is born. It's weird being so far along!! Time is flying!

I am not enjoying summer pregnancy but I'm glad I'll be healed enough to enjoy next summer. And probably at least some of ski season.

28 weeks along with my 3rd.

Swollen bleeding gums, lots of aches and pains, can’t breathe, and starting to swell with the heat. I’m regularly seeing the chiropractor and doing pelvic floor therapy. I plan to air up my pregnancy ball this week.

I passed my glucose test, and am looking forward to my next appointment so I can schedule my c-section. This will be my 3rd csection. My first was scheduled (10 days past my due date), and my second was emergent after a failed attempt to VBAC.

Soaking in the baby kicks as this is my last planned pregnancy.

We are doing some work to the room that girls will share before I really get it put together. I did get a new baby monitor ordered, and a bedside bassinet from FB. The only other thing I really “need” is a changing mat for the top of dresser and diapers. Our insurance covers a breast pump, but we aren’t allowed to fulfill the prescription for it until the baby is born. I do have two others from the past pregnancies that I may just use.

I have a fresh 48 photo session scheduled for the hospital. And am researching some postpartum clothing options to help with my moral after birth. Baby blues are no joke ladies.

I will also be stocking the freezer with postpartum meals.
  • I am 30 weeks today and still feeling pretty good. I went to the doctor two weeks ago and things were looking good. I go again on Thursday, and I hope all is still well.

I am a teacher and worked until 23 weeks, and now summer break is coming to and end, as I got back to work next week. I have spent the entire summer getting rid of stuff, cleaning, and organizing. I have kind of run out of steam at this point. I sewed a playmat for him, the bassinet is by the bed, and the pack n play with changing pad and bassinet it set up in the living room. My baby shower is this weekend, so I am a smidge excited about that.

Last school year, the mom of one of my students lost her baby at 30 weeks and that's all I can think about right now. Feeling a little anxious. So, my doctor's appointment couldn't come soon enough.

I supposedly have gestational diabetes so, I have been pricking my finger four times a day for about a month now. And my glucose is almost always in the good range, so I think they might be wrong about the GD, but they are still making me test...

I took a baby basics class and a breastfeeding class at the beginning of July, and I also took the hospital tour already. Tomorrow, I take a birthing class. I found a daycare and will be signing paperwork on Monday.

Good luck ladies! We are in the home stretch! 💚💜💙
  • Is anyone else constantly dying of thirst and has dry mouth? I know I’m drinking more than enough water everyday. So I suspected I either have an electrolyte imbalance or this is a sign of Gestational diabetes. Or could just be normal 🤷🏼‍♀️😫
  • Normal- I have chronic dry mouth/mouth breathing. And extremely swollen gums that bleed a lot 🫠 make sure to drink electrolytes so you don’t get let cramps from flushing everything out with so much water 🙂 I like redmonds relyte
  • @mamamo18 I actually just ordered redmonds relyte the other day! Can’t wait to try it.
Unfortunately I just got my A1C test results back and I actually have type 2 diabetes that went under the radar. So that explains the dry mouth and thirst 😫 very surprising news
  • Ahhh! I’m so sorry! Sending you good vibes as you learn to navigate it!
