How are you feeling?: round! 😂 tired. Ever so slightly less nauseous the past few days but hesitant to acknowledge it for fear of jinxing myself

Rants/Raves: none really - we’re wrapping up week four of an extended family camping/roadtrip and I’m just glad for a few days this week with little to no car time. No way could I have done it without unisom and b6 on board daily though!

Questions: any other second or third time mamas feeling too big for too early? It’s starting to make me paranoid there’s a hidden twin somewhere we missed at the 7wk scan

GTKY: What's the weather like where you live? I’ve heard it’s been quite hot - but we’ve been traveling cross country and back for weeks, so it feels like we’ve lived all the seasons recently

@gingerbunny23, yes! This is my second pregnancy. I feel so large already. I wasn’t even showing at this point with my first. 😅

Upcoming Appointments: I had an appointment and ultrasound today. My next appointment is Aug 11.

How are you feeling?: Large! I’m so afraid for how big I’ll be by the end. Otherwise, I’m not too bad. I get dizzy a lot.

Rants/Raves: My 2.5 year old has been in a huge tantrum phase. All day long. It’s so hard to be patient, and I read that it lasts until they turn four. I hope that’s not true!

Questions: None.

GTKY: What's the weather like where you live?: 102° F. I refuse to go outside.

How are you feeling?: i celebrated too soon thinking the nausea had calmed down. the nausea is still horrible. i live off of greek yogurt with granola most days. food aversions are so bad, i can’t even look at our air fryer without gagging. i had to hide it away 🙁 

Rants/Raves: my jeans either fit tight or just don’t close anymore! i guess its true when they say you’ll show sooner when you’ve had more pregnancies. i have a few maternity pieces that i’ve used with my past 2 babies and i still refuse to buy a whole wardrobe of maternity clothes for a couple of months, seems like a waste of money to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ so out comes my already owned pieces also known as “the pregnancy uniform”

Questions: anyone else currently breastfeeding? my daughter is about to turn 1 and i’m thinking of weaning her off soon cause my breasts have been so sensitive that it hurts so much every time she latches 😭

How are you feeling?: more energy and less nausea this week. But emotions are high. Anxiety is high! Trying to remind myself that things will work out. 

Rants/Raves: every night my abdomen feels so large! I share some other people’s worry that I’m going to get so big if I feel like this at 13 weeks. But then I wake up and it goes back down? Idk. Also stoked that I’ve had normal digestion this week. Raves: walks. Seeing flowers still in bloom! Being able to smell them before I see them lol

Questions:  I saw people start side sleeping at 20 weeks. Is it good to start earlier? I’m paranoid about sleeping in my back even though I’ve read it’s okay at this point. 

GTKY: What's the weather like where you live? 

75 degrees F. I live on the coast of Northern California and am very grateful that I can take mid day walks and not overheat.

@gingerbunny23 yes!!! This is my 6th, with each one I show sooner. My husband is also very tall and I'm not, so I grow out not up. It's a long road! 🤣 hang in there!

@lalaurenj I start side sleeping around week 9. But I still lie on my back for small spurts. I have also been very paranoid with each pregnancy about it!

FTM/STM/TTM+:  What does TTM stand for? This is my 6th and I still don't know. 🫠

EDD / Weeks + Days: 12 weeks! 

Team blue/pink/green: Blue, a boy mom I'll be! This is our last and I will have 5 sons. What a world! 💙

Upcoming Appointments: July 29th is my 1st. After my 2020 baby and my losses I just like to put it off. Which I know ticks off people, but it's my sanity. 

How are you feeling?: honestly really well. I am tired, but I've been blessed this time around and am thanking the stars for that. It also freaks me out because every miscarriage and my stillborn I lucked out with an easier 1st trimester as well. 

Rants/Raves: summer sports are just way too hot when you're pregnant. We have been at them between games and practices 3 days a week. Some days 3 hours at a time. We set the pool up and have been swimming daily too. I'm zapped by night time. I do sleep deep and have some insane dreams. 

Ladies I know it's easier said than done but don't fret the bump. It's going to happen and the more you have the sooner it comes. Embrace it and enjoy it. Pregnancy comes with so many struggles and I just wish women didn't make body image one. I do it too, but it's a battle we won't win in this season of life. You're going to get bigger, you will waddle at some point, you may even piss yourself. It's not the most visually pleasant of seasons. Oh but that cute little bundle sure is. End game. Think end game. I say this while not fitting anything and wearing a frumpy dress that is not flattering! 😉 it's just not worth the mental turmoil you deserve to enjoy what you can in this and that won't help. OK done with my unsolicited BS. 

Questions: do you all have insane dreams when pregnant? I have intuitive ones, like knowing a friend is going to be pregnant with a girl in a couple months and they are. Knowing my Grandpa won't meet the baby and he doesn't. Just weird random dreams, but always of such foresight. I really love sleeping while pregnant it is like i flip a TV on in my head. 😅 2nd trimester ones get a bit juicy too! I should wake and jot stuff down, maybe have a best seller on my hands!🤣

GTKY: What's the weather like where you live? Hot! We did a burn pile a few days ago and it was miserable. I was on hose duty and still I complain! Lol I kept hosing myself off. I think we will have 1 more before seasons end. I'll volunteer for hose duty again!
