First pregnancy

Good morning everyone! 

I am currently 4w4d with my first pregnancy and am excited and happy and nervous and scared.
we have been trying for nearly a year and we were both thinking it just wouldn’t happen naturally. 

I had a HSG after my LMP and had a sneaking suspicion 3 days before my period was supposed to start and was shocked to see two lines. 

I am trying my best to just enjoy this and be happy but also have anxiety wondering is everything ok. I think I will just feel that way until my first appointment at 8w.

Yay congrats! The wait until that first ultrasound is the longest! I swear time slows down.

Yes! The anxiety is so real! Every tiny twinge or new feeling in my body gets put into a note that I use as a symptom tracker. If it’s super weird, I ask chat GPT which has been helping alleviate some worry (e.g. dry eyes?!). 

I’ve started compiling a list of questions for the doc as well. It helps to write everything down so I don’t spiral daily! 

I’m 6 weeks and change and the fact that we have to wait for 8 wks before seeing the OB feels crazy. Trying to keep going on with regular life, but I can’t focus on anything else.

Congrats! 

I’m 6w2d today. That feeling of fear about all of the things that *could* go wrong is REAL. I started doing some daily affirmations today and that have helped me a lot. 

My body was made to do this. 

My womb is a safe, nourishing, peaceful place for my baby to grow.

I am 10wk 2 days and just have my first appointment on Friday and ultrasound
I have been telling all my symptoms and totally understand the questioning everything. I finally told my mom and best friend so now I have someone to ask is this normal? Also it's ok to wait to tell people you are pregnant

Im 11 weeks now and have been telling people. Im just so excited and the waiting for the ultrasound I feel is taking forever. We are going on Wednesday for ultrasound and genetic testing! So the wait is almost over. And I also have been keeping a list of questions ready togo hope my obgyn is ready 😆
