WAYDTGKU (BD/TI/IVF/FET/Benched/etc.): Matching phase for embryo adoption

How are things going? Any questions?: We decided to accept our new embryo match. If my clinic says yes to it, we’ll have two embryos and hopefully at least one of them will get us our take-home baby! If they say no we will just try with the one embryo they already said yes to.

R/R: We have some trees in our backyard that are becoming a problem. They were “removed” by the previous owners, but they didn’t cut down the stumps very far so they just grew back. I can’t trim them easily because they are between the garage and fence. So I’m having someone come by today to give us a quote on properly removing them. I’m just hoping it’s not too expensive.

Timing/Testing/CS: -3, so a little before O day. Could be -2 depending on how fast I ovulated after my positive OPK. I’ll be testing later this week. I’m 5DPO today. 

How are things going? Any questions?: this has been a weird cycle for me. My OPKs followed a weird pattern. I went camping in really cold temps the second night I was trying to confirm O and my temp g had a dip even though I’m using Tempdrop. I just think it can only filter so much from the environment. The TWW is flying by because I have stayed busy so that’s a plus! 

R/R: I have been cleaning my garage for the last several days. It’s been a huge job. There was no where to even step when I first started. Just total chaos and junk. I swear I am going to be the house bully about keeping it from getting that way again. I need to be able to use that space. 

@britters314 Hopefully they give yall an answer soon so you can get started. I feel like every day they wait could push your timing off by a good amount with this entire process.

How are things going? Any questions?: I finally saw my OBGYN and she sent me for some bloodwork - prolactin, TSH, free T4, AMH, LH, and FSH. I've only gotten back the TH/Free T4 results, which came back normal.

R/R: I am falling apart. I had a cold last week that I kicked semi quickly with zinc and hot tea but now it seems to have settled in my chest and I am coughing up some not great stuff. In addition to my boob problem, my pap smear also came back abnormal for the second year in a row (but it seems to be the common kind of abnormality that could be caused by literally anything). I just want to lie in bed and sleep.

@fifilala516 I’m glad your thyroid panel came back normal. I’m sick with a cold too. I feel like summer colds are worse because summer isn’t a time for sickness. That’s super frustrating about your pap. When it rains it pours.
