WAYDTGKU (BD/TI/IVF/FET/Benched/etc.): Matching phase for embryo adoption

WTO/TWW: TWW

Timing/Testing/CS: This was a TTA cycle

How are things going? Any questions?: We decided to ask our agency to find us a match for 1 or 2 more embryos. But if the next match isn’t right for us or my doctor says no again, we will move forward with just the one embryo that’s been approved. We are also still waiting on my clinic to send the approval paperwork for that embryo to the agency. Once they get it, idk if we start the contract paperwork for that embryo or wait until we are matched again and do it all at the same time. So we’ll see.

R/R: It’s going to be in the 80s today, so I’ll probably be going to the beach this afternoon!

@britters314 will you use all of the embryos at the same time? Or just have the others as back ups just in case?

How are things going? Any questions?: pretty good. My OPKs kept going up and down which was annoying but I caught my peak. I had an appointment with my OBGYN today. I talked to her about the recent losses I have had and what I could do or have checked to see if anything is going on. She is checking my thyroid and egg reserve. Hopefully those come back normal. She mentioned a thyroid medication if needed and if my egg reserve is low to speak to a fertility specialist. I don’t want to do anything drastic but if they recommended a medication or something like that I would consider that. 

R/R: This week is busy. I have a lot going on and I will be camping again later this week without DH so I’m glad my fertile window is closing soon.

@emeraldcity603 My insurance only covers single embryo transfers, so I would be trying one embryo at a time

Update: We got another match. It’s for one more embryo, which is what we were hoping for. We’ll take the weekend to look over all the info and I’ll update again on Monday!
