6 weeks- twins- 1 has low heart rate ...

we found out today we are expecting twins!
We are super excited , but a little worried , as 1 twin has a low heart rate (54) at 6 weeks. The other is where it should be. .

I asked to get scanned next week instead of 2 weeks out and my RE said no :( if I am going to miscarry or have vanishing twin syndrome I'd rather know sooner than later..
But I guess I have to listen and wait 1 week 5 days .

Anyone here have twins and had 1 with lower heart rate at 6 weeks? From my understanding,  heart could have just started beating so can't really say one way or another .
Would love some success stories with similar numbers for their babies... I already know the negative possibilities. 💜

That is a very low heart rate I bet that is scary to see..sending love your way and hopefully everything turns out ok!

I’m so sorry that is very low my baby’s was 70 at 8w and it was a loss hopefully you have a different outcome
