I feel soo fat and while I know there’s a baby in there I feel more fat than pregnant. I have gain 10lbs in the last month. Which I know is my own fault…
I gained 8lbs in 4 weeks at my last appt and was freaking out a bit. I just had my 20 week ultrasound/appt today and only gained 2, so I feel a little better now 😂

10 pounds is about right on track for this stage of pregnancy! I know that confronting so many bodily changes at once can be hard but know that this weight gain is healthy and helps you keep growing that baby!
@j32444 I remember with my first pregnancy having a really hard time with this aspect. I gained more in first trimester than “recommended” and felt like I was set back the entire way, despite actually being a really healthy weight. Pregnancy is hard; you may not gain weight linearly and that’s ok. If you’re eating a relatively balanced diet and getting some activity in like walking or mild exercise you’re probably doing just fine.
I’ve gained 15lbs since conception, 10 of which was during the early days of the first trimester because I was always feeling starving. I gained 45 in my first pregnancy, and seemingly on track to do the same this go around. I will say, I’m very active with walking, hiking, and working out so with that comes with eating more. But I like to think some of the extra weight is new muscle from lugging around this growing belly 😉
Thank ladies! I think I’m worried about gaining as much as I did with my first. Which was way more the. You’re suppose to. Really trying to be more conscious about staying active and eating g healthier.
