Hi and congratulations to everyone! We are pregnant by IVF and so the genetic testing was done on all of our frozen embryos. However, my new OBYGYN still recommends the NIPT test. I don’t feel the necessity. Anyone else do both? Or just one?
I did both! It’s just a blood test. My OB says it’s standard procedure and pgt A isn’t 100% fool proof since they only test one cell of a microscopic embryo. It’s up to what you’re comfortable with. I’d rather know now if something’s potentially abnormal than find out later. And I have a lot of comfort knowing that things are likely fine after pgta. My results come back next week.
