Hi friends! I thought it would helpful to have a weekly ‘get to know you’ posts so we can learn more about each other. (Anyone is free to start a thread!)

That said, tell us about your dream vacation, and/or your most favorite vacation you’ve been on.

I'll start:
I have so many fond memories of going down the shore to Sea Isle City, NJ every summer as a child. We would go to the beach, visit the Cape May Zoo and the Wetlands Institute, and do the junior Olympics on the 4th of July. It was so so so much fun!

Most recently, I've discovered a little getaway in Northwestern PA to go stargazing in Cherry Springs State Park. It's so nice out there. I'd love to live there if there were more work opportunities for my husband. Here's going I hit the lottery and can just buy some property up there and go!

I would love to take my husband and my boys back up North to Vermont to where I grew up. 1.5yrs ago I had to go return with only my littlest in tow for a funeral and I forgot how beautiful and peaceful it was. Rent a cabin on the lake and just relax.

I had a blast in Mexico with my husband and Disney was pretty fun too!

I want to go somewhere tropical though like Hawaii or Maldives. And Greece!

Dream vacation is probably Iceland! 

I have been to Hawaii a couple times and it’s fantastic but really dependent on where/which island.

I really want to go to Disney as an adult…I’m also a huge Harry Potter fan so universal would be neat!  I’ve never been out of the US or seen crystal clear blue water.  Can you tell I don’t travel much? Haha Now thinking I should have taken some opportunities sooner, but that’s okay! I’m happy with anything that has a mountain or water view.

I would love to go back to England and Scotland. And I really want to take my Paris-obsessed 2.5yo to France but probably won’t do that anytime soon as I want him to actually remember it well.

My favorite vacations have been Scotland (for our honeymoon), Hawaii, and the WA coast.
