  • What number are you trying for? 3

    WTO/TWW? TWW (3dpo)

    Ages of other child(ren)? 6.5 and 7.5

Any thoughts about this cycle? We had good timing, but that doesn’t mean much after this long, so hopefully we just get matched with embryos soon

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? I took the kids to the planetarium today and it was a big hit. They’ve been doing astronomy this year for science, so I think that made them like it even more.

GTKY: If you celebrate Easter, what are your plans/traditions that you’ll be doing this weekend?
We’ll all be meeting up at my sister’s house so the cousins can do an Easter egg hunt together. We’ll have a dinner there, too, but we never do anything big for Easter dinner

  • WTO/TWW? Waiting for my period.

Ages of other child(ren)? Range from 22-20 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? It’s a bust

    Any questions? No

Rant/Rave? We are going out with our hiking group to do an Easter egg hunt. We freeze colorful eggs and drop them in the snow and the kids go around and collect them as we hike. There isn’t any snow on the ground this year so I’m not sure how this is going to go. We are still doing frozen eggs but they may not stay frozen during our entire hike. I want to hike slow with my youngest so he can pick up eggs but my 3 yo is a runner and there is a cliff that drops off into a river on one side of this trail. So I need to make sure I stay with him.

GTKY: If you celebrate Easter, what are your plans/traditions that you’ll be doing this weekend? I don’t have any traditions. We do Easter baskets from mom and dad and then go eat with some friends.
  • @britters314 I tried to take my kids to the museum and do a section of the exhibit that went with our science study and I chose the one day the museum was closed. I like coordinating trips like that with whatever we are studying. I’m glad your kids had fun.
  • @emeraldcity603 Yeah I almost chose a day they were closed too! Luckily I decided to double-check the hours last week lol
  • @britters314 I always feel like such a rockstar homeschool mom when I can coordinate “field trips” with lessons… Doesn’t happen often lol but when it does I’m like, I’m actually doing this! Haha

What number are you trying for? 3

    WTO/TWW? WTO… CD3 :(

Ages of other child(ren)? 9 and 3 next week

Any thoughts about this cycle? Looking forward since last cycle was a no-go… We are camping the weekend before O day so I’m hoping we don’t miss it entirely.

    Any questions? No

Rant/Rave? I mentioned this in the other thread but we rode our bikes as a family to the baseball stadium to watch the minor league team play. We had tickets for the grassy berm so the girls ran around the whole time and we had a great few hours. We left around inning 6, which was way better than I expected, because the 2yo does not really have patience for stuff like this, but it’s always such a great feeling when you start getting “back to normal” with the little ones and see that you’re able to do things again. Crazy to think of starting all over with (FX) a new one, but it was a great day.

GTKY: If you celebrate Easter, what are your plans/traditions that you’ll be doing this weekend? We don’t have a whole lot of traditions. We hide the girls’ baskets in the mornings and they have to go find them. I also let them eat candy in the morning (I’m usually a strict candy-only-after-dinner mom and even then it’s only a piece or two). Usually we smoke a pork shoulder on the Kamado but we were invited to a friend’s house for lunch after church so we’ll be enjoying having someone else cook.
