GTKY: What’s been your favorite family vacation you’ve gone on?

Any thoughts about this cycle? Only BD once on O-1 so not super hopeful. CD23 and I’m feeling like I usually do the week before AF so I’m thinking we’re out.

Rant/Rave? Kind of sad no Christmas baby, would’ve loved a holiday birthday! 

GTKY: What’s been your favorite family vacation you’ve gone on? When we lived in Hawaii we did a Christmas staycation one year in a cabin by the ocean. We got up and played in the water all day and just enjoyed being together. I feel like most Christmases are too hectic for me to slow down and enjoy it so it was a welcome reset. We have friends that never travel or have guests during the holidays so we’re thinking of implementing that this year.

Ages of other child(ren)? Ranges from 22 to 19 months 

Any thoughts about this cycle? We had good timing so I’m very hopeful. I was expecting my temps to be higher with the progesterone suppositories. They are high but I was expecting higher. I’ll probably take a few PdG tests later this week to see if my progesterone gives me a few positives in a row. Last cycle I ran out after getting one positive and I felt like that positive was somewhat late. Which is why I got some progesterone supplements.

Rant/Rave? The sun is back out and has already melted the snow we got earlier this week. 

GTKY: What’s been your favorite family vacation you’ve gone on? We go to Hawaii often. I like going in June because my favorite beaches are calm and the sand is so hot the toddler doesn’t run down the beach. We went in April once and it was hell. The toddler ran a long ways down the beach.

@emeraldcity603 When I’ve done progesterone, my temps weren’t much higher than usual. It did definitely keep my temps up for longer than usual though

Any thoughts about this cycle? Still waiting on embryos, so not expecting anything to happen this cycle

Rant/Rave? I’m so excited for this weekend. It’s supposed to warm up and I can finally do some much-needed outdoor chores.

GTKY: What’s been your favorite family vacation you’ve gone on?
We went to PEI last summer and did all the Anne of Green Gables stuff. It was really great and we all had fun, even though the trip was mostly for me. H enjoyed the seafood and the kids’ favorite part was the hotel pool lol

I'm fascinated reading everyone's experiences with progesterone as I am fairly certain I'll be needing it - this is like, the 3rd cycle where my luteal phase is less than 10 days long.

Rant/Rave? Nothing, really. I've resigned myself to the fact I am probably going to need some assistance. I have an appointment in June.

GTKY: What’s been your favorite family vacation you’ve gone on? We usually vacation with my in-laws -- we went to the Finger Lakes when I was pregnant and that was actually really fun, relaxing, and beautiful. We're big Disney people, and last year's trip during New Years' was pretty good. We just impulsively booked another one for June, and this will be the first time it'll be just me, my husband, and my daughter.
