How are things going? Any questions?: so far so good. My temps look good. I can officially confirm ovulation today which means I will start my progesterone suppositories tonight. I hope I don’t have too many symptoms from it. I don’t remember getting many the last time I was on it.

R/R: we are in the middle of 3rd winter. 🙄 All the ice just melted from the last snow and the ground was pretty clear and now we are supposed to get 6 inches over the next few days. I’m irritated. We were having 50 degree days and it felt like summer. So I’m a little down about it. Plus, I put away all the snow gear and it’s 27. It’s too cold for rain gear but too warm for snow gear. It’s a weird place. Of course I have plans to be outdoors 3 different days during this snow storm.

  • @emeraldcity603 I almost put our snow stuff away over the weekend, but I’m glad I didn’t because it’s snowing right now! It’s not sticking to the ground, though, so I guess I would have been fine even if I had put it all away.

Timing/Testing/CS: Testing - did CD3 bloodwork and US last Friday and a saline sonogram today

How are things going? Any questions?: For the most part everything from my tests looks good. I have a follow-up with my doctor next week, so we’ll see if she wants me to do anything. During my test today she did say I have a small fibroid, but that she’s not really worried about it. And my thyroid levels were a bit elevated so they might have me adjust my meds for that, but everything else is looking perfect, just need some embryos!

R/R: We’ve been having an issue at our house where we keep getting water pooling by one of our gutter downspouts. Originally the downspout went into the ground there and there is a pipe that connects to the sewer, but a while back our city asked all homeowners to disconnect those because the sewers back up during storms. So we are supposed to have the downspout empty into our yard instead. But that just hasn’t worked well with the location of the downspout, so I switched it out with a rain chain connecting to a rain barrel and it seems to have solved things! Plus now I can use that for watering the plants, so win-win!
  • @emeraldcity603 My friend in Michigan was wanting to plant her little seedlings outside this week but it’s currently snowing on her now, and she’s pretty bummed. Not snowing here but it’s “cold” (50F)!

@britters314 That sounds like excellent news as far as your tests go! Hopefully you get matched, soon. I have always wanted a rain chain, they look so beautiful! I might put some on our front porch.

Timing/Testing/CS: O day, planning to test next week.

How are things going? Any questions?: They’re fine, wish we had more BD during O week but it is what it is! My temps look good although my sleep is always erratic so FF is constantly giving me the disappointed looks and telling me to be more consistent. Ain’t gonna happen. I haven’t slept more than three consecutive hours for like ten years.

R/R: Not much happening, waiting for the weather to be more consistently warm so I can transplant my baby plants outside. This is the first time in a long time we’ve had room for a garden, and we’re doing a bunch of veggies and herbs. We stayed with my parents last summer while DH was away for training and they had a GIANT cherry tomato plant on their porch, and it was heavenly.
  • @britters314 I’m glad your tests are looking good.

@aloha_mama I have plans to have a garden every year and then I fail to execute it. I need to start planting the things I have so maybe we can have a chance this year. I’m such a horrible procrastinator.
  • @emeraldcity603 The only time I’ve successfully grown things is when we lived in Hawaii and you could just throw seeds down and ignore them and they would thrive on their own. I’ve had a black thumb my whole life so this year I’ve been trying to be more of a plant lady. I have a good little collection of indoor plants going but we’ll see what happens with the outdoor ones! I have an Aerogarden on my counter that has been really helpful with seed starting. We moved a basil plant outside in a moment of too much excitement a few weeks ago and it threw a fit but seems to be coming back. Fingers crossed!
  • @aloha_mama I have a little greenhouse for my deck. It’s nice I need to get it back out and start some seeds then move them to my deck. I think this is our last burst of winter so hopefully anything I do from here on out won’t be disastrous.

How are things going? Any questions?: I got really sick this week so I'm thinking that's going to mess with my cycle.

    R/R: None
  • Best of luck @aisleofviewtwo!

Timing/Testing/CS: We only BD once this cycle in the fertile window due to schedules/life. I'm not optimistic but I'm OK with it.

How are things going? Any questions?:

R/R: I'm on vacation for over a week after Thursday, so just need to get through two more days!
  • @aisleofviewtwo It is really messy. I have just been wearing panty liners and pretty much decided I may have to buy new underwear. I have also had some stomach issues. So far, that’s about it.
  • @emeraldcity603 New underwear seems drastic! Liners definitely help, but even when I’ve forgotten them I’ve never had problems getting underwear clean with a standard wash.
  • @aisleofviewtwo It’s so oily. I feel like I would have to do more than just a standard wash. Don’t get me wrong. I plan to wash and see how they turn out but if I have to do more than that, they will either be period panties or go to the trash. 😅

Side note, I took a PdG test today and I swear I have line eyes and it keeps me from declaring the test positive. I entered it into the premom app as an OPK just to see if it would register a number and it gave it a zero. So should I mark it as positive? Even though I feel like a vvvvfl keeps catching my eye? Maybe it’s an indent. lol, I feel so ridiculous.
  • @emeraldcity603 I know nothing about PdG tests or how to read them, sorry. Hopefully someone else here does!

I have heard that progesterone suppositories won’t show up in serum blood tests for progesterone (even though it’s definitely present and supporting the uterus!) Is it possible the same is true of the urine test?
  • @aisleofviewtwo The prescribing nurse practitioner said my numbers should be higher and in a certain range and that once I got pregnant we would check my progesterone at regular intervals to make sure they are in the right zone. PdG are positive with only the control line. I feel like I can always see a line. Like my eyes just can’t help it. It’s very close to being positive if that is in fact a line. It’s extremely faint.
