Has anyone had pemphigoid gestationis

I'm 18 weeks with my second pregnancy and have been dealing with a severe rash/hives situation all over my body for the last few weeks. Last week my dermatologist took a few biopsies and the results just came in. Its something called pemphigoid gestationis. Has anyone else dealt with this? Its incredibly uncomfortable but my bigger concern is for the baby. 

A little background. My son Bear passed away as a toddler less than a year ago. This pregnancy truly saved my life as it gave me a reason to keep on living. What happened with Bear was completely unrelated to pemphigoid gestationis. Its brand new with this pregnancy. But considering the impossible loss I've suffered I am on extreme high alert with this pregnancy. The thought of anything impacting this baby in a negative way is just devastating. Right now I'm scared.

I was looking up this diagnosis just to see if it was related to rheumatoid arthritis and saw your post. I had it with my 2nd child. It was awful! But to make you feel better, baby was fine! All he had was peach fuzz all over his body from me taking prednisone. I found that laying in a bath helped the most. I new have rheumatoid arthritis and finding the 2 related.
