Month/Cycle? 4/3

WTO/TWW? TWW, think I ovulated a few days ago but FF hasn’t given me crosshairs yet. 

Ages of other child(ren)? 9 and 2

Any thoughts about this cycle? I mentioned this in the TTGP thread but I’m annoyed because we missed last cycle since DH was away, only BD once during FW this cycle, and next cycle we’ll be camping. Love camping BD but it won’t be happening with our two LOs in the rooftop tent with us lol 🙃 guess I’ll be here again next month.

GTKY: What is your favorite book series? This is a hard one for me! I read a lot. Like, a lot. And I read everything. I love the Poldark series, reading those is like being with family. Louise Penny’s Inspector Gamache series are a favorite, too. But then there’s the classics like Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter and Redwall that give me warm fuzzy feelings. We read Narnia with the 9yo a few years ago, she and I are currently on book 3 of Harry Potter, and she and DH read the Redwall books together. We’re on book 6 of the Little House series in her school and just started Anne of Green Gables, as well.

@aloha_mama I’m about to start the first HP book with my kids. I got the fancy book with all the little things on the pages. It’s interactive. Although, I prefer listening to the audiobook for HP. We just finished up The Little Princess for book club and need to finish the Wizard of Oz. We are so behind. We already did our book party and everyone else has moved on. I’m such a Charlotte Mason mom that I feel like the longer we sit in those books the more we get from it. So I don’t feel too bad. 😆

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just hoping I eventually get a positive OPK. 

Any questions? Anyone notice a difference in SMU vs FMU with their OPKs? 

Rant/Rave? I mentioned in the main thread we are hitting the lake today. The mud will be insane. Think caked on mud. I just hope the sun is out so I can soak up some vitamin D. That will determine if we stay most of the day. We need to come home at some point and do school. I’m determined to finish school by mid May. We are getting so close. I can’t afford to miss days right now. 

GTKY: What is your favorite book series? I love the ones I grew up reading. HP will always be at the top, I have a few other but can’t think of them off the top of my head. I would need to go dig them out.

@emeraldcity603 Charlotte Mason all the way 😂 At the rate we’re going, we’ll be reading Anne of Green Gables forever! I’ve never heard of the interactive HP books, I’ll have to look into that— we’re reading the Jim Kay illustrated editions and they are gorgeous. We do a lot of driving so when we’re in the car we have the Jim Dale audiobooks, my favorite. We are also kind of at that point in the school year where we’re just over it. The weather is so beautiful, which doesn’t help. 

ETA: I’ve heard SMU is better because a surge tends to happen later in the day? Idk though, curious what anyone else has to say. I test around 2 or 3.

Any thoughts about this cycle? AF is due any day now and my temps have already dropped, so we’re out this cycle

Rant/Rave? DS2 is really obsessed with dinosaurs right now. It’s all he talks about and I don’t mind all that much, but H and DS1 are really tired of always hearing about dinosaurs and I think his friends are getting tired of it too. I have no idea if this is a normal level of dinosaur obsession or if it’s some sort of hyper fixation that I should be concerned about.

Any thoughts about this cycle? If it DOES happen this cycle then the due date would be around Christmas, which I wanted to avoid - but I also feel bad about benching myself for no reason other than a potential birthday? It seems silly.

Rant/Rave? I'm still tired from the wedding I was in this weekend (see other thread) but the weather here is starting to feel spring-like!

GTKY: What is your favorite book series? "Harry Potter" always and forever. I have distinct memories of getting the book from a bookstore (!) on pub day and there being massive fanfare around it.

@fifilala516 Did you ever do the midnight book parties? I used to read the books to my little sisters so we got the three chapter stars tattooed on our ankles a few years ago.

GTKY: What is your favorite book series? HP for sure. We did a few of the midnight book releases when I was a kid and I have very fond memories of reading them. I wish Ms Rowling had stayed off the internet though! 😂

Also, my 19 month old is killing me. He still nurses and I usually night wean by now but I don’t have a place to move him to get him out of my bedroom. So I have just continued. He is suppose to share with the 3 year old buuuut, I don’t want to rock the boat with the 3 yo sleep. This kid can sleep through the night but refuses to because he wants to nurse. Which is why I need to stay so hydrated. 🫠 A reference from my comment in that one off post to @ferret22.

I’ve always liked Artemis Fowl better than HP. I’ve never understood why it wasn’t more popular.

@britters314Im currently listening to Gone with the Wind (which has been a wild ride) so I will start it afternoon on the side but listen slower. I’ll let you know though. I have been wanting a good series to dive into so I’m excited.
