Anyone Dealing with Morning Sickness?

How is everyone feeling? What symptoms are you experiencing early on? Anyone else with morning sickness? And how are we dealing with the symptoms? 😊

Re: Anyone Dealing with Morning Sickness?

  • Yes! All day sickness! I have found eating breakfast earlier than usual and fresh air help! Also ginger suck on candies! Also experiencing strong sense of smell, fatigue & sore boobs!!

  • I’m glad it’s not just me! All day and night and has been getting worse since the original post. I got the sour preggie pop drops and they are working pretty well, but I am literally experiencing all of those things too. And if something smells bad, makes me gag instantly! We got this!!
  • I swear my boobs have hurt since conception. I haven’t really had any morning sickness. Some mornings I just feel like crap. But if I get up early eat breakfast and get out of the house I usually don’t feel too crappy all day until about 3/4pm I’m ready for a nap!

My boobs are SO tender since like..week 3!
Not too much morning sickness.  I’ve had a few things that I think smell weird, tons of food cravings - I want nothing but meat and sweets.
And the occasional kinda queasy moment but it passes.  I’m peeing all the time.  Sometimes like 10 mins after I just peed. Crying.  Easily annoyed.  Almost always ready for a nap.

I guess it’s all par for the course, right?

Well I thought I was in the clear but nope… I am suddenly so nauseous this morning 🤢 Just dry heaved into the toilet while my stomach did flips… I hate throwing up so this is going to be fun 😅 my boobs also hate me rn
  • In my 8th week. Was having nausea that I thought was bad for a couple of weeks before this, and now I’ve turned a corner to a whole new universe of nausea! Some vomit but mostly just constant gagging and feeling sick. Fresh air helps, even though the last thing I want to do is leave the house. Eating protein as well, which is hard because eggs are my only true food aversion so far so those are off the table.
  • Hahaha I had the same thing happen.  I definitely spoke too soon! 😂  We’re gonna get through this! lol
  • I’m miserable. All day nausea, every second of my day. On 2 different meds for it. I still throw up daily, 1-5 times a days. I’ve been throwing up every day for 25 days now. I had to get IV fluids at some point. Haven’t drank water in I don’t know how long… can’t tolerate it. Can’t tolerate the taste of my own saliva, the smell of my own sweat… my mental and physical health plummeted so fast, I’m getting therapy today
  • Sad to see so many of you going through the same struggle I am. All day morning sickness. The THOUGHT of food makes my stomach turn and anything I eat makes me gag or throw up. Anyone else working through this? I’m so tired of vomiting in a public bathroom 😩 I’m on the b6, trying ginger chews and ice chips.
  • Oh yeah.  I feel nauseous every second of every day.  I’ve managed to find pockets of time to eat here and there and I feel better when I’m eating but then 10 mins after I’m back to nauseous.  I’m hoping this phase passes quickly cuz it’s not my favorite.  I’m practicing my daily affirmations and trying to will this away so I can get to the next part.

May we all get through this part quickly and be happy glowing pregnant women filled with joy and love soon!
  • I’m with you  :'(. I have been in the absolute trenches. I finally gave zofran a try and it seems to be making a dent. Also I know it sounds impossible but keeping saltines on your tum at least every two hours has been helping. Also cold apple slices, miso soup and coconut soup. If I eat anything other than that it comes right back up either immediately or 5-6 hrs later
  • Oh no I'm so sorry to hear how sick some of you are!   I was feeling nauseous starting around week 6, to the point I slept with crackers beside me at night and had to immediately eat them in the morning.

My Dr prescribed me Dilectin which seems to be common for pregnancy nausea.  I took it for a week and it actually cured me..  no nausea at all.  But it made me super tired constantly, I had to rely on coffee every morning to get through work.  I stopped taking them few days ago and my energy is back and so far....  No nausea.  Paranoid it'll come back for me but so far feel ok!
  • Discovered that slowly sipping ginger ale and not letting my stomach get empty have helped a LOT.  What’s working for you?
  • My pregnant body only tolerates a green smoothie for breakfast. Probiotic yogurt, spinach, frozen fruit, spinach, green smoothie juice and a thumb tip amount of fresh ginger.
Soda and sparkling water gives me too much gas and just makes me more uncomfortable. Been drinking kombucha when I want to drink something with flavor. Probiotics seem to help.
I usually just graze on fruits and veg for lunch and have a bland dinner. This kid has a pallet for bento box simplicity.
  • That’s amazing you’re able to keep up with a healthy diet during the 1st trimester! I’ve been eating terribly just to get anything in my stomach that I’ll actually be able to eat 🤪. Once the nausea ends I’m gonna try your smoothie recipe! 😋
  • 9 weeks and 1 day… it seems like my nausea is going away? Still quite tired and will get a little nauseous and very sleepy by late afternoon. But nausea is way less than it has been. Trying not to freak out, I know that symptoms can come and go.
  • I’m also 9 weeks 1 day and noticed my nausea symptoms were less intense than the previous week! I had my first ultrasound appointment today and baby was healthy and the nurse said it’s completely normal for nausea symptoms to fluctuate… hope that helps ease your mind! ❤️

yes at different times of the day, back pain, morning sickness and congestion. Honestly what works for me is "sour gummies" when i feel really bad or "plain yogurt" on an everyday basis
  • I am 12 weeks pregnant. I have sore breasts, bloating, nausea and foods aversions. Nausea is the worst and I cope up with it by using 'no to morning sickness tea' and taking prenatal vitamins at night with lemonade. This helped me so far to lessen the symptoms.
