Flu Type B

Hi everyone, 

Went to my primary today, and they confirmed that I have flu type b. They did not prescribe any antivirals. My only symptoms so far are sneezing, runny nose, coughing from post-nasal drip.

Anyone else have it and did not get prescribed anything?

It's a virus not bacterial - antibiotics don't work. Meds like tamiflu work if taken within 48 hours of onset. Doctor feels you are fine without meds - just let it run its course and keep an eye out for signs of regression
