Aches at 5 Weeks Pregnant?

Hi ladies!
I had a miscarriage back in December and am pregnant again after my first cycle since...I'm feeling so blessed and am just 5 weeks today. HCG was 173, progesterone 27...I am overall feeling good but have had on and off dull aches/cramps on my right side for last 3 days...nothing sharp or jolting or concerning but definitely noticeable and there. My doctor assured me it is normal as long as there is no worsening pain or bleeding.
Has anyone experienced this at their 5 week mark? Needing some reassurance after going through a loss and trying not to spiral...

  • hey, congrats on the new pregnancy! it's totally normal to feel those little aches and cramps, especially after what you've been through, so just take it easy and try to relax a bit... sending good vibes your way!

this is what the 'Heal Baby Care App' mentioned… hope it helps!

"I'm so sorry to hear about your previous loss, but congratulations on your new pregnancy! It's completely normal to feel anxious, especially after a miscarriage. Many women experience mild cramping or dull aches in early pregnancy, often due to the uterus stretching and adjusting.

As your doctor mentioned, as long as the pain isn't worsening or accompanied by bleeding, it's usually nothing to worry about. It's important to take care of yourself and reach out if you have any concerns. How are you managing your emotions during this time?"
