HCG levels

Hi Everyone! 

I’m 5w3d and this is my first pregnancy (and first time trying) after an early loss two years ago. FYI I already have two beautiful daughters who had non complicated pregnancies and births. I’ve been having light spotting since before my BFP so naturally I’m a nervous wreck. Got my hcg done last Thursday (161) and then I couldn’t wait the whole weekend to see if the numbers were rising or falling so I self ordered a test the next day (Friday) and the numbers were 137  I took another test the next Monday (yesterday) and my numbers came back 397! I’m hoping this pregnancy is still viable but the small dip obviously has me thinking the worst. No real bleeding yet. I begged my clinic to see me early and got an appointment for this Friday. Anyone have thoughts?

I need advice because now I’m freaking out a bit. I got my levels tested at 6w and it came back today at 5638. Some people on a group I’m in on Facebook are saying it’s too low for 6w. I haven’t had an US yet so I haven’t been confirmed just going off of my LMP. Could anyone tell me if 5638 is okay for 6w?

@lawrencebaby2025 when I google HCG level ay 6 weeks, there is a wide range that is considered normal.  The thing to look for is levels increasing (doubling) every 48 hours.  If you're worried you can request a repeat blood draw to check 48 hours after your first one.

@lawrencebaby2025 Hi! It could be that you’re a little earlier than you thought. My nurse told me that in order to see something in an US your levels have to be higher than 3,000.
