Not pooping regularly

Hello

My baby is 2.5months and she is not a regular pooper. The maximum she hasnt pooped is 6 days. She is eating, sleeping, peeing properly. Is there anything to be concerned?

anything that I can eat to make her poop regularly? She does gets gassy if she doesnt poop for longer time.

TIA

  • If you are breastFeeding, cut out dairy and soy from your diet. Rather than medicines, try babies magic Tea, a herbal remedy which contains fennel, chamomile tea and carom. While breastfeeding, I used to take it twice a day and it helps to avoid gas and tummy problems in my baby. You can directly give it to your baby via bottle

  • Try taking a probiotic yourself. Your gut affects baby. I noticed a huge difference second go around with the bowel movements with the babies. My first he wasn't pooping consistently. His ped recommended to take biogaia which worked wonders! Now on my second baby I'm taking probiotics myself and no biogaia for her. She is pooping after every feeding!
  • It’s completely normal for breastfed babies not to poop regularly. My newborn; now 8.5 weeks old, poops every 3-6 days. No need for concern; as long as they are gaining weight and have plenty of wet diapers, they’re fine.
