Upcoming Appointments: had my first appointment today with the care coordinator! I go back next week for an ultrasound with my provider 

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Still not really having any symptoms, which I guess I should be grateful for

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: rave--the care coordinator scheduled me for ALL of my prenatal appointments today (including a 6 week postpartum visit in OCTOBER lol) and I was able to snag an appointment for next week with my OB for an ultrasound (which is about 2 weeks earlier than I expected 🥳)

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: none

GTKY: Will you be watching the Super Bowl for the game, halftime show, or commercials? Or not at all?  I'll be here for the food actually 😅 and the commercials. We are Steelers fans but will be rooting for the Eagles (since I am from Philly)

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Pregnant one moment then not Pregnant the next. Hunger and sweet cravings are insane, I have already gained 5 lbs 😫. Also an emotional wreck praying this baby stays with us.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: Frustrated with my OBGYN and just feel a lack of urgency with issues. Bloating and gas OMG they are killing me!

Rant. So, I am technically still married to my ex. The divorce process has been dragging for ages and were very slowly making some headway. After talking to our attorney yesterday, I found out that the state will assume my ex to be the father because we've not finalized divorce yet. I think thats just completely ridiculous. My ex makes no claim to this child, I know exactly who the father is, there is no contention on paternity. But the courts are going to make it into an issue. So basically, the father of my baby won't be able to even be on the birth certificate. I'm stressed, angry and just sad.

Not at all, neither of us care for sportsball, we'd much rather sit and play video games.

ok two things…. The state deciding paternity is absolutely ridiculous! I am so sorry you are going through that.

Hmm, im very like, flavour of the month, generally? Longterm games are mostly MMOs, been playing FFXIV for a few years now. For single player I love the sims games, stardew valley, kinda like cozy chill games haha

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Starting to get waves of nausea throughout the day. I’m still lifting pretty frequently and am having a hard time getting the nutrition side down to make sure I’m fueling myself appropriately.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: The stomach bug ran through our house Sunday and Monday. Thankfully it passed quickly! Work is getting really intense (we’re starting up a manufacturing plant). At some point I’m going to have to tell my boss, I’m just going to hold off a little longer. But he might be throwing a celebratory happy hour at the end of the week soooo…

@krg152425 Haven’t experienced bleeding yet but it’s still early. Sorry you’re not having a great experience with your OB. I hope things get better or you’re able to find a practitioner who makes you feel more comfortable.
@kas0211 The anxiety is real! Glad you have an appointment coming pretty soon, hopefully that eases some of the anxiety.

In Kansas if the biological father signs the birth certificate and claims the child then it does not fall back on the ex. We have a friend going through the same thing but the biological father took off and his ex is already re-engaged to another man and pregnant with #8 (dad #5)

@pinkkillersheep No VBAC here but I was inducted and had an epidural with my son. This gone want all natural. Honestly thought about in homebwith a Midwife but there is a lot of scare with that. My husband is against it as nearest OB Hospital is 45 minutes from us.

That was what I had assumed would happen here, too? But my attorney says that they'll default to the father and the hospital will not be able to have the biological father on the birth certificate at all. I have a a status conference with the court in an hour to tell them that I got pregnant after filing initial paperwork that said I am not, and I'm going to have to see what they'll do. But most likely, I wont be able to be granted divorce until after birth, and it'll be an issue regarding paternity. My man is being super chill about it and he doesnt care about the paperwork cause he knows it's his kid - but for me, it's giving extreme stress and anxiety and I've cried like 50 times over it by now.

@naka92 I'm sorry, that is so incredibly frustrating (and unfair!!). Is there an option to just not have the father listed at all on the birth certificate and then add your bf later, or no because you are technically still married?

Upcoming Appointments:  2/14 genetic testing. Hoping baby is well.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴?  Up until 2 days ago, couldn’t sleep, body was so hot at night, didn’t want to eat, crying every other day at stupid things. My husband is keeping a log for me to laugh at later. Recently though, no symptoms…? Trying not to feel bad about it.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀:  Preggo pops for instant relief, works wonders day & night. Husband was so supportive when I was complaining about not being able to sleep due to waking up to bright lights coming through our windows, he duck taped big cardboard boxes around the windows so it’s now black out 😂. Guess we’re investing in blackout curtains soon.

So the court said I'll have to go through the child support agency to sort it out and start a paternity case to contest things prior to birth, and then after genetic testing etc they'll be able to add my bf as the father. 

Its great cause today could've been my final divorce hearing, if my ex had bothered to sign something in a timely manner instead of literally taking 3 months to do so. Sigh. 

I'm getting a tub of ice cream, who is with me?
