I can hardly get out of bed lately; I feel nauseous, tired, hungry, and dizzy all at once. No amount of water and vitamins is helping. My horse pill of a prenatal makes me feel more nauseous every morning. Advice? Anyone else feeling this?
Try switching to a gummy prenatal. I have always had a hard time swallowing prenatals but I can get them down if I chew them! I like the spring valley brand from walmart- I have tried many and it is the least vitamin-like tasting lol. It is probably not the most holistic, organic multivitamin out there, but it is better than nothing and will give you peace of mind to be taking something!
Try to take care of yourself as best you can - resting/sleeping as much as possible, and keep drinking the water - as much as you’re able!! It will pass in a few weeks… hopefully! I have had HG in previous pregnancies so I understand where you’re at. Hang in there!!
I feel you — that early pregnancy wave of nausea + exhaustion + dizziness is brutal. You’re definitely not alone. One thing that helped me was switching to a more gentle prenatal — I couldn’t handle those giant horse pills either. I started using Vidalocity Prenatal + DHA — way easier on the stomach and doesn’t have that awful aftertaste. Also, taking it at night with a little food helped reduce the nausea. You might also ask your provider if splitting your dose or trying a gummy version is okay short-term. Hang in there — weeks 4–9 can be the hardest.
