I’m currently 24 weeks and today I had the second part of my anatomy scan. When I went originally at 20 weeks baby boy was didn’t want to change his position and when he did he had his hands in front of his face so they weren’t able to get all of the scans/pictures they needed. So I went back today and we were able to get all the images they need. Thankfully baby boy is healthy, there are no concerns with him at all. However, they did measure my cervix and said my cervix is short. They said it’s 22 mm that this puts me at risk of preterm labor. They didn’t put me on bed rest or anything but said that I have to go back to perinatology next week and if my cervix is not measuring at 26 mm by next week then I’ll need to go on vaginal progesterone. Anyone have a similar experience currently or in a previous pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy.
