GTKY: What do you expect your Thanksgiving Holiday will be like, and what would you like your Holiday to be like if you could have it exactly as you wanted this year?

I'm on my fourth pregnancy, due March 28th with a boy 💙 and I don't keep track of weeks or size. 

I'm excited to see my boy Zeke on ultrasound this weekend and I'm glad the whole family can come.

I like to keep my calendar full so that pregnancy feels like it passes more quickly. I applied for a volunteer position on Tuesdays that I can bring my children to. I have weekly plans on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays so I'm looking for something to add at the beginning of the week. I think it'll help me cope as I get farther along.

Someone filed a noise complaint about our puppy barking (i'm 100% sure it's during a time that he lets them out) and I hope it compels my husband to take more responsibility because I've told him in many ways and several times that a puppy right now is more than I can handle. I wouldn't mind rehoming our puppy so I hope he steps up or considers what I want. Our kids and home are enough for me. I'm not a dog person - this isn't a new thing or a passing phase. I've been pulling away from caring for our dogs while letting him know that I'm not going to put them before our children in my priorities. Is it normal for a husband to brush off something like this, or to hear over and over "I don't want this dog" and (as far as I can tell) not make any changes?

GTKY: What do you expect your Thanksgiving Holiday will be like, and what would you like your Holiday to be like if you could have it exactly as you wanted this year?

-Expectation: Stressful and exhausting because dogs and kids and interacting with in-laws.
-Ideal: By ourselves, out of town, taking it easy and not cooking a big meal, just my husband and our children. Maybe to just have sandwiches.

@allfacestheoaks ooh my i would not be ok with DH getting a puppy right now. Especially if he expects me to care for it, was told I didn't want one and again that it was too much. Yikes. Not that you need more on your plate but can you look into rehoming it (back to the breeder or shelter)?

How are you feeling?: worn out and nauseous at times still. Definitely did not get that 2nd tri energy this time lol

We're just hosting my immediate family (parents, 3 out of 4 brothers and SIL) and only making mashed potatoes as my mom does most of the cooking. It's also my birthday 🥳 but that doesn't bring much excitement lol
