Appointments at 2 places

I’ve had all 3 of my babies at the same hospital. I’m looking at other hospitals and have 2 options.. has anyone ever booked two “first appointments” with different places and just gone to both to check them out and figure out what option will be a better fit for me?

Some hospitals have free tours of the maternity ward where they give a lot of information about the doctors/midwives and you can ask questions. If that’s an option, that might get you an even better feel than an appointment would.
