Reasons to not get in a hot tub

Hi everyone! Super excited to be here! I need some advice. My husband and I are going on a family vacation with most of his family in two weeks. The house we rented has a hot tub and obviously I can’t partake (unfortunately!), but I need a good reason to tell his family why I can’t. I’m only 4 weeks and we don’t want to tell anyone until the end of the first trimester. I thought of “I forgot a swim suit” but they would all just encourage me to run to the store to buy one. His family knows I LOVE hot tubs so they likely will be suspicious why I’m not joining. If you can help me think of an excuse, I would greatly appreciate it! I’m thinking maybe a rash on my back? Somewhere they wouldn’t see…

I’m guessing most stores won’t have swim suits in stock anymore, so that excuse might actually work. Unless you are going somewhere where it’s swimming weather all year, then nvm

I'd say a small rash or a few hives from a new sweater you bought!  Keep it simple and something they can't fix
