    Hello! I'm back here again trying for my 2nd, again. I'm 41 and my husband will be 45 in December. We had our first baby, a son January 2020 and got pregnant with him on the 3rd cycle of trying. We have sort of tried for a 2nd since he was about 2 years old with bench periods throughout. We've now been loosely trying for the last 10 months. I say loosely because I was just going off calendar dates for my fertile window and trying to be stress free about it. We ended up with a chemical pregnancy in March and haven't gotten pregnant again since. This month was our first month of really, really trying, as in I did OPKs to pinpoint my fertile window and BD every day of that week and on ovulation day. I was sure it was my month. There was no way we missed the fertile window this time! I'm now 11dpo, had a negative pregnancy test (early detection) and started spotting and cramping so 99% sure it's aunt flo. I'm gutted. I realize this is way too long for an intro, but I'm technically not new, new as I was very active here before. Anyway, I'm here to provide support and get support. My son will be 5 in January and lately he's been asking for a baby sister, so, really hoping I can grant that wish for him! We have a cat and we want a dog at some point. I really enjoy reading and cooking and I always love this time of year with all the holiday festivities!
