    How are things going? Any questions?: Triggered Tuesday night and FET is scheduled for next Tuesday! Also managed to snag an on-site acupuncture appointment so excited to see how zen I can get with that + valium (which they prescribe to reduce uterine contractions after the transfer). Feeling like this is our time, and our RE has said studies show better results from FETs when couples have an optimistic outlook, so I'm doing my best to ride this emotional high and just take each day as it comes.

    R/R: Halloween makes me a little sad because we never get trick or treaters in our neighborhood! I was so excited the first year we bought this house and then nobody showed we were stuck eating all the candy I'd bought...for weeks and weeks. I never loved dressing up but I'm really nostalgic for the idea of everybody out and about. Maybe I'll buy a bag or two of my very favorite candy, just in case :)

    🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for a successful FET!! I love Halloween too and we don't get many trick or theaters either. It seems most people do the "trunk or treats" now 🫤 they're fun and I think because it's in an enclosed parking lot people feel safer, but it does make me miss the way Halloween was when I was a kid. But if you're ever up for it one year, maybe you can look up a trunk or treat and volunteer your trunk. You basically decorate your car and the trick or treaters come through to everyone's cars. Not the same but you still get to pass out candy and whatnot.
