Re: Weekly Check in - October 14th
EDD / Weeks + Days: 23+2, Feb 8
I haven't gotten into podcasts, but will sometimes listen to audio books in the car. Lately I can't focus on it, though.
I love podcasts. I like 1000 Hours Outside, Joe Rogan, and lately Megyn Kelly for all the election time drama.
The heat in the bay area last week nearly put me over the edge, but we're back to normal weather now so happy about that.
Normal gossip is back for season 7! Makes me so happy.
Sending healing vibes to anyone hit by either hurricane.

also sorry for being MiA, with the move to SC and hurricane and extra doctor appts life has been crazy but I’m committed to getting back on here more and would love to connect more too!
Hmmm I don’t listen to podcasts but I’m listening to a few audiobooks. Right now I’m listening to “Exactly where to start” by Phil Jones. It has nothing to do with pregnancy or babies and everything to do with starting my own business! Woohoo!

Do you have a pregnancy pillow? Or extra pillows to tuck around yourself? My pregnancy pillow is horseshoe shaped, supports my belly and back to keep me on my side, and I put it between my knees, which really helps. I also started seeing a chiropractor about a year ago, which has helped. She has special training for pregnancy, so I am comfortable seeing her. I truly think it has made a difference in my hips, back, ribs, and my ability to breathe while pregnant!
I’m tagging into this as I’m new to the community and didn’t see a check in for this week (10/21). I’m sad to see it’s crickets here, a coworkers wife recommended this place after her first two pregnancies pre Covid and couldn’t stop talking about it and the friends she made.
Hoping to find a group to not feel so alone in this with.

Baby is the size of a (an): grapefruit
Team blue/pink/green: green
Upcoming Appointments: I have just a regular appointment with my OB next Tuesday.
How are you feeling?: Morning (noon and sometimes night) sickness at least two hours each day and a shooting pain along my lower back and around my hips that just started last week.
Rants/Raves: my food preferences are so all over the place and at this point, annoying that eating and grocery shopping have become a chore.
Questions: none
GTKY: If you listen to podcasts, what's your favorite podcast? If not, are you listening to anything you enjoy? I never got into the podcast thing, but I’m willing to listen to recs from anyone who’s got some.
I’m usually a fairly healthy eater (vegetarian for health issues my whole life), but my gosh, I’ve never wanted a bleeding hunk of meat and a gallon of apple juice more than I have the last three months, the juice situation I take care of daily but at this point I’m 99% sure my boyfriend is terrified for his life when he’s eating red meat and I’m just 😳😲👹 next to him.
I have no clue why, I thought it was an iron deficiency but, nope. Guess I’ll just keep salivating at the meat counter.
