Hey!!! 

Due date: June 12th! 4 weeks 3 days! 

Second time Mom. (Kids are going to have 5+ year gap. But we have no village and semi planned for the age gap. Just took us over a year and 3 months to get pregnant But who's counting? 😂😂) 

Baby is the size of side of a key. 

I'm such a boy mom now. So boy. 💙 

Nothing scheduled yet. 

I'm feeling ok, minus hurting my back yesterday. But I think that's my sciatica. Nothing pregnancy related. 😂 

I LOVE this time of year. From Oct. - December. I love Halloween! I love Christmas. This is my favorite time of year. So I'm nervous I will have literally no energy to do the things I love. (Decorating, cooking, baking, looking at lights, pumpkin patches. Etc. )

How are you feeling?: I have Covid and am having both Covid and early pg symptoms, especially taste and appetite issues.

Rants/Raves: Rant... Covid positive 2 days before getting a positive pg test, so worried for baby. Rave... Just excited in general

Questions: anyone else had Covid and been on Paxlovid when they found out they were pg?

DD / Weeks + Days: I am due June 8th, currently 5w1d. 

FTM/STM/TTM+: I have three other kiddos and am so excited to be expecting our fourth and final baby. 

Baby is the size of a (an): Appleseed!

Team blue/pink/green: Always team green.

Upcoming Appointments: We have our dating ultrasound scheduled for the end of this month! Counting down the days. We will see our midwife at 10 weeks. 

How are you feeling?: I’m feeling good! Tired, so thirsty, peeing frequently and my nipples have been tender. Usually the sickness begins in my sixth week.  

Questions:

GTKY: what's something you're looking forward to in these last few months of 2024? 

I’m looking forward to all the festivals yet this year and the cozy thanksgiving dinners with family and friends.

How are you feeling?: exhausted, hungry and slight nausea!! My boobs are killing me too. Have to hold them as I go down the stairs 😂😂

Rants/Raves: I hate the anxiety that comes with previous losses. Especially for me I’ve had many different types of miscarriages, so even if I feel like I’m in the “clear” ish I’m still horribly anxious.

Upcoming Appointments: waiting for Dr to call back to schedule!

How are you feeling?: Physically: pretty good, sore boobs and I’m tired, but I’m always tired lol
Mentally: not sure yet. Definitely excited but also really nervous. Pregnancy is something that has always scared me sooo this is a really big step.

Rants/Raves: don’t think I have any yet…

GTKY: what's something you're looking forward to in these last few months of 2024: I’m actually graduating with my MBA in December so I’m super excited about that! Just 9 more weeks of classes! I’m also really looking forward to the holidays as it’s our first year in our new house and I can’t wait to decorate (hubs is pulling the Christmas tree out of the attic on Nov. 1!)

How are you feeling?: ok! A bit queasy. Hungry!

Rants/Raves: Had some one sided pain so was a little worried about ectopic. They did HCG draws which were doubling so doctor isn’t worried. Wish I could get in for an early scan though!

Hey everyone! It's so good to see you all here and get to know you a little better! 
@madiirosee I know exactly what you mean, I'm a member of the stillbirth club so there's never a time I feel completely safe and yeah I hate it too, you're not alone in that. 
@reaganh2016 omg congratulations! That's such an accomplishment! First holidays in New houses are absolutely magical!! I'm excited for that too this year!

How are you feeling?: 

I always get sick really early so morning sickness has started already, fatigue, extra emotional, peeing a ton, the whole nine yards. I'm nursing my toddler still and so far that hasn't been too bad. 

Rants/Raves: 
1 pregnancy dreams are a trip and 2 I just did four days solo parenting and it went so well but I'm tiredddd.

GTKY: what's something you're looking forward to in these last few months of 2024? 
my sons birthday, pumpkin patch and trick or treating as a family this month and then the countdown till Christmas in our new house, we just built it this summer and I'm so excited, I hope I have lots of energy to decorate and make it magical😆

Team blue/pink/green: I want to be team green and have it be a surprise, but H wants to find out, so we’ll see

Upcoming Appointments: Bloodwork tomorrow and Monday to check if hcg levels are rising 

How are you feeling?: My boobs are sore and I had cramping yesterday, but otherwise feeling fine

Rants/Raves: We already told our kids that I’m pregnant. They knew we were adopting embryos because we had to do a home study and the social worker interviewed them (they are 6 and 7). So we decided to keep them updated on the whole process. But I don’t think they’ll be able to keep it a secret for long. DS1 was already telling his friends about it yesterday lol

Questions: Anyone planning to do tours of different hospitals and birthing centers? I’m curious how early that’s usually done

Cooler weather! Hopefully that starts soon. It’s supposed to be 80 here tomorrow, which is really not normal for October

How are you feeling?: So anxious! How do people just walk around during this time acting like everything’s fine! Symptoms came on strong in week 3 - cramping, nausea, bloating, peeing, tiredness but have settled more down this week. My main complaint currently is sore boobs. 

Rants/Raves: None at this time. 

Questions: None, happy to have this forum. 

GTKY: what's something you're looking forward to in these last few months of 2024? Holiday season! Hopefully getting good news on the 28th and being able to tell friends and fam around Thanksgiving.

6 weeks yesterday! started feeling nauseous yesterday. Yay and oh no

Upcoming Appointments: i have a second hcg on tomorrow 10/11 sooo nervous then 8ish week us on 10/21!!

How are you feeling?: the symptoms really turned on this week lol the bloating, nausea and constantttt fatigue are in full effect. Sometimes my breast are sore and super heavy but it comes and goes, is that normal?

Rants/Raves: we have been trying for over 18 months and i am just so relieved to have my first EVER positive test but of course with that comes allll the anxiety. I had a scan on what would have been around 4weeks (thought i was way further because i have pcos) and they only saw gestational sac - sure wish i would have waited because all i can do now is hope, pray, and wait for my little blueberry to be there in 2 weeks.

Questions:
Anyone in the same boat??

@madiirosee hii🥰 we have the same due date and the same ultrasound appt date!! How are you holding up during the wait?? Everyday the symptoms get a little worse and i think it’s actually a little relieving lol

@quickcorral they're probably dying inside like we are!! Early pregnancy anxiety is second to none, it's so hard. 

@britters314 actually I did nearly immediately once I figured the baby was sticky, I'm not a just call the closest OB office and hopefully they don't suck kind of person so I went on the tours that all the birth centers have each month and talked to the providers and got a feel for what was the best for me. There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to make the best choice, providers usually only have privileges in one or two hospitals and most of the time it's only one so it helps to do homework on what that hospital is like.
