My husband and I are planning our family more closely. We know we would like a semi-large family 3 - 4 children. I had my first baby, a boy March 2023 and I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my second. Yet to find out the gender. We have been thinking a lot about 4 children. Of course, loving them wouldn't be an issue. We are financially sound, and we both grew up with one sibling and wished we had more and we want that for our kids. We are just worried about other people's views of us, judging us because we have a large family. I would appreciate any thoughts and experiences on this. Thanks Mama's. Planning a family can be so challenging.

I would encourage you to find mom groups or communities that are supportive of big families! I come from big family and want a big family too. The church we attend has lots of young families with all different numbers of kids, and it’s so nice to see everyone’s experience and interact with moms who have lots of kids! I never feel like I will be judged by my church family, and because I have that security I don’t worry about what others outside that circle might think.
