Morning sickness

I can't keep much down, some days I'm good and only throw up once bit other days I'm throwing up all day and can't keep anything down, is there something wrong? What can I do? I'm very concerned for the baby and I know it's early I'm only 6 weeks but I'm worried about the babya health and development

Re: Morning sickness

  • Your body will take what it needs from you. Biggest thing is it hurting your health and sever dehydration. You might have Hyperemesis gravidarum. Get checked out sooner rather than later cause there are medications they can put you on to help!

  • Call your doctor! Some people just have horrible sickness. Doesn’t mean anything is wrong but there’s medication to help.
  • For me, some days are nausea days and some days, there is no morning sickness at all. I cope with nausea by having a cup of "no to morning sickness tea". Whenever I feel a little bit nauseaous, I just drink it and for the wholeday it works and i eat anything without any fear of vomit.
  • hmm, that sounds really tough, but a lot of people go through this in early pregnancy, so you're not alone; maybe try small sips of ginger tea or crackers?

I actually checked the 'Heal Baby Care App' for this and here’s what it says:

"I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this way; it can be really tough, especially in early pregnancy. It's not uncommon to experience nausea and vomiting during this time, often referred to as morning sickness. To help manage it, try eating small, frequent meals, and consider bland foods like crackers or toast. Staying hydrated is also crucial, so sip on water or ginger tea throughout the day.

If your symptoms are severe and you're unable to keep anything down for an extended period, it may be worth discussing with a healthcare provider to ensure both you and your baby are healthy. Have you noticed any specific triggers for your nausea?"
