Steroid shot advice

Hello! I need to decide if I want to have a steroid shot. I'm currently 35 weeks 5 days pregnant. I've had a stillbirth due to pre-eclampsia at 23 weeks before. My MFM recommended a steroid shot between 35-36 weeks and induction at 37 weeks. I have my induction scheduled for 37 weeks 1 day. My OBGYN suggested that the steroid shot isn't necessary and could potentially have negative side effects, but said it's ultimately up to me if I want to have it. I'm scared I'll make the wrong decision. Any advice would be much appreciated!
